It might be less apt to describe the 2013 Audi S6 as “tamer”; perhaps it’s more accurate to call it “more mature.” Cars.com Reviewer Joe Bruzek says the all-wheel-drive sports sedan’s new version wisely drops its V-10 for a 420-horespower, 4.0-liter V-8, letting you have all your high-performance fun in the 4.5 seconds it takes to get to 60 mph, then calls it a night before arousing law-enforcement interest. Lacking competitors’ track handling, the S6 lends itself more to everyday use, but its high-gloss interior boasting bountiful LED accents, carbon fiber, diamond-quilted leather and lots of tech is anything but mundane.
