The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST is a veritable performance piñata, bursting with track-tuned treats when you hit the gas. Cars.com reviewer Joe Bruzek had a blast in the Focus ST’s subcompact sibling; its 197-horsepower, turbocharged four-cylinder provided “blazing” quickness off the line, playful cornering and an engine sound other small sports cars should listen to and learn from. Everyday drivers: Take that racecar-inspired exterior styling as a warning that this car’s milieu is the track. If you’re OK with a rougher ride on the street, the Fiesta ST offers plenty to celebrate.
