If you’re a movie star trying to vacation with your family without being bothered by paparazzi, anonymity is something you cherish. If you’re a car buyer among the rest of us non-celeb civilians, we tend to want to stand out on the street. So when Cars.com reviewer David Thomas calls the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander’s style “anonymous,” it’s not a compliment. Still, Thomas notes in the video above, the new SUV’s “surprising speed,” balanced ride and top safety ratings should offset some of that unwanted anonymity.
