The problem: Affected cars may exhibit an illuminated brake warning lamp in the instrument cluster. This may be due to a faulty left front brake pad’s wear sensor wiring lead making contact with the front wheel.
Vehicles affected by this service campaign:
- 2016 Jaguar XF
Corrective action: Dealers will diagnose the condition and if confirmed, modify and replace both front brake pad sensor leads.
Warranty info: This service campaign is being performed free of charge under the Jaguar new car, or extended warranty, whichever applies.
