Vehicles Affected: Approximately 11,200 model-year 2017 Buick LaCrosse sedans
The Problem: The rear-suspension toe links may have been incorrectly installed and, as a result, may loosen and disconnect from the suspension system, causing a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will inspect the left and right rear-suspension toe-link assemblies, correcting their installation, as necessary, for free.
What Owners Should Do: Buick manufacturer GM will begin notifying owners on June 20. Owners can call Buick at 800-521-7300, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
