2017 Chrysler Pacifica Rated 28 MPG Highway
CARS.COM — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ minivans haven’t been known for their efficiency, but the new-for-2017 Chrysler Pacifica should change that. The automaker’s Town & Country replacement is EPA-rated at 18/28/22 mpg city/highway/combined, a big improvement over the outgoing model’s 17/25/20 mpg rating. Power comes from a redesigned 287-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the Town & Country’s 283-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 and six-speed automatic.

The Pacifica’s mileage numbers beat competitors like the Kia Sedona (18/24/20) and Toyota Sienna (18/25/21), but it can’t quite catch the Honda Odyssey (19/28/22). The hybrid Pacifica’s ratings haven’t been released yet, but Chrysler expects it to get 80 mpg-equivalent in the city and 30 miles of all-electric range.
