2018 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Model-year 2018 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks are, along with model-year 2018 Dodge Journey SUVs, part of a recall for approximately 1,800 vehicles

The Problem: The backup camera may experience a loss of image display while backing up, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the rearview mirror for free.

What Owners Should Do: Ram parent company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will begin notifying owners Aug. 3. Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
