CARS.COM — Honda fans know that when the automaker calls something a prototype, that means it’s basically a thinly veiled production car that’s going to be available soon. That seems to be the case here from Honda’s Acura luxury division, whose 2019 RDX Prototype at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit signals a full overhaul of the brand’s two-row SUV is soon to come.
Acura says the next-generation RDX will be on an Acura-specific platform with a wider track and longer wheelbase than before. Check out the video below to see what other changes are in store for the RDX.
