2019 Honda Insight Prototype: Photo Gallery
CARS.COM — Honda’s last Insight hybrid flew its green-car flag high with its awkward, wedgy silhouette. The new Honda Insight prototype unveiled at the 2018 Detroit auto show strikes a much more sedate look, however. The Insight trades its previous hatchback body style for more traditional sedan lines and borrows much of its styling from Honda siblings Accord and Civic.

Despite Honda officially calling it a prototype, there’s not too much concept-y about it. The automaker said to expect the production version of the Honda Insight in late 2018 for model-year 2019, and it looks like much of the prototype will carry over.
