Approximately 86,000 Ford Bronco Sport SUVs and F-150 pickup trucks are included in the latest recall from Ford, which addresses flickering parking lights.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2022-23 Bronco Sports and model-year 2022 F-150s. The LED parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
To resolve the problem, dealers will replace or reprogram the LED driver module for free. Owners will be notified starting Oct. 31. Those with further questions can call the automaker at 866-436-7332 (Ford’s number for this recall is 22C22), the NHTSA’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
