Tesla’s popular Model Y has helped make the EV automaker one of the bestselling luxury brands in the U.S. But Tesla’s approach to luxury differs quite a bit from those of traditional luxury automakers — especially ones that have made a push into EVs, such as Audi with its E-Tron SUV.
First offered as a 2019 model, the E-Tron is similar in size to the Model Y, and its starting price is similar to what you’d pay now for a long-range Model Y like the one Cars.com purchased in 2021.
