Stellantis’ latest recall involves more than 139,000 Dodge Durango SUVs. The issue involves the rear spoiler, which may not be properly aligned with the roof.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2021-23 Durangos. The rear spoiler may not be angled to the roof, causing the spoiler to contact the roof when the liftgate is used. Over time, the spoiler may become damaged, which could result in parts of the spoiler detaching from the vehicle and becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
As a fix, dealers will inspect and replace the spoiler, as necessary, for free. Owner notification letters will be sent April 14, but those with further questions can contact Dodge parent automaker Stellantis at 800-853-1403 (the automaker’s number for this recall is 20A), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
