More than 229,600 examples of Ford’s Bronco and Bronco Sport SUVs are being recalled over an issue with the instrument panel that may cause it to fail.
Affected vehicles include model-year 2025-26 Broncos and Bronco Sports. The instrument panel cluster in these vehicles may fail at startup, preventing drivers from viewing critical safety information, such as the vehicle’s speed and warning lights, and increasing the risk of a crash.
To resolve the issue, the instrument panel cluster software can be updated by a dealer or an over-the-air update for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Dec. 8; in the meantime, owners with further questions may contact Ford at 866-436-7332 (the automaker’s number for this recall is 25SC3), the National Traffic Safety Administration vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit the NHTSA website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
