Affected vehicles include model-year 2025 Bronco four-door SUVs. The left-hand rear door may be able to be opened from inside of the vehicle when the child safety lock is in the On position, increasing the risk of injury.

As a fix, dealers will inspect and replace the rear door latch, as necessary, for free. Ford will notify owners June 23, but those with further questions can contact the automaker at 866-436-7332 (Ford’s number for this recall is 25S64), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
