CARS.COM — Hyundai is looking to imbue its new Genesis premium division with a luxury experience that stretches far beyond the look and feel of its cars. When the Genesis G80 and G90 sedans hit dealerships — August and by summer’s end, respectively — they’ll come with a host of above-and-beyond convenience services aimed at saving the brand’s inaugural customers time and trouble.

Topping the list of offerings is three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary valet services to and from maintenance appointments, which are also complimentary for three years or 36,000 miles. Owners can schedule maintenance by phone, online, through Genesis Connected Services or via the Genesis mobile app. A valet will pick up the car at a time and location of the owner’s choice and drop off a Genesis loaner without interruption to the owner’s day. The valet will then return the serviced car to the owner at a pre-selected time and place.

Genesis buyers will also get three years’ free Genesis Connected Services, comprising a trio of packages: Connected Care, Remote and Guidance. These packages include conveniences like remote start and climate control, remote door locking and unlocking, vehicle location assistance, 24-hour roadside assistance, stolen vehicle recovery and Destination Search powered by Google.

In addition, SiriusXM traffic and data services will provide three years of complimentary, real-time traffic, sports, weather, stocks, gas prices and movie times. Meanwhile, map software used by Genesis navigation systems will be kept up-to-date with free downloads to the system’s SD card via the MyGenesis website, Hyundai noted. That’s in addition to a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, 5-year new-vehicle warranty and 7-year corrosion protection.

These customer-convenience programs will launch with the G80 and G90, and according to Hyundai will then extend to all future models in the Genesis lineup.
