The 2026 Kia Niro will go on sale late in 2025. Pricing is as follows:

Trim Levels
The entry-level Niro LX features 16-inch aluminum wheels, heated side mirrors and proximity keyless entry. Its cabin is upholstered in cloth and has dual-zone automatic climate control, six speakers, and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the Niro, Kia’s Drive Wise safety suite includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane departure steering assist, lane-centering steering, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, a driver attention monitor and automatic high beams.
The EX adds rain-sensing windshield wipers, keyless start, remote start, leather seat trim, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a wireless phone charger and paddle shifters. It also gets an upgraded forward collision warning system with bicyclist detection and front cross-traffic alert, as well as adaptive cruise control and rear parking sensors. The EX Premium adds a moonroof and power liftgate.
Chrome front-bumper trim and gloss-black lower-body accents give the Niro SX an upscale look. It backs up its appearance with synthetic leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, driver-seat memory settings, a heated steering wheel, eight-speaker Harman Kardon audio and Digital Key 2.0, which allows owners to use a paired smartphone or smartwatch as the key and to remotely monitor the vehicle.
The SX Touring further enhances the Niro’s looks with 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, black mirror housings and aluminum pedals. The SX and SX Touring also get standard front parking sensors.

Powertrain Specs and MPG
The 2026 Niro is a hybrid, pairing a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with electrical assist for combined output of 139 horsepower and 195 pounds-feet of torque. A six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends power exclusively to the front wheels. All Niros except the SX Touring return an EPA-rated 53/54/53 mpg city/highway/combined; the SX Touring is rated at 53/45/49 mpg.
