Trim Levels
The Impreza Sport is equipped with a 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder engine that produces 152 horsepower and 145 pounds-feet of torque; it’s paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission, but an eight-speed manual mode can be activated via the vehicle’s steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
Also included is an 11.6-inch touchscreen multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Sport trim drives on 18-inch dark-gray alloy wheels and is equipped with LED foglights, steering-responsive headlights and two drive modes: Intelligent, which provides eco-friendly driving settings, and Sport. It also comes standard with the EyeSight driver-assistance suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Cars equipped with the optional $1,900 package that includes blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, evasive steering and a power moonroof now also come with emergency lane keep assist.
The Impreza RS was not changed for 2025 after being introduced in 2024, but it is updated for 2026. Most notably, the RS receives an updated 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder engine making 180 hp and 178 pounds-feet of torque; it makes more torque at a lower rpm, though horsepower is slightly down from the 2025 model’s RS trim.
The RS comes standard with the $1,900 options package offered on the Sport and offers unique interior trim accents in gunmetal and simulated carbon fiber, as well as sport front seats in black cloth with red accents and aluminum-alloy pedal covers. The shifter and steering wheel are also wrapped in leather. It also offers RS badging on the front doors and rear hatch, 18-inch dark-gray alloy wheels, upgraded LED headlights, and a black finish on the grille, side spoilers and mirrors. The RS is available with an optional $2,070 package that includes a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with a 432-watt amplifier, a power moonroof and a 10-way power-adjustable front seat with lumbar support.
