How Much Is the 2026 Toyota Camry?
Key Points:
- Nightshade Edition joins Toyota Camry lineup for 2026 model year
- The 2026 Camry is priced from $30,195 (all prices include $1,195 destination charge).
- Hybrid sedan with up to 51 mpg combined
Exclusively hybrid since its redesign for 2025, the Toyota Camry is a mid-size sedan offering tremendous interior room, more than 50 mpg and all-wheel drive from a base price barely over $30,000. Even loaded up with heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic moonroof and all of Toyota’s available active-safety tech, the Camry stickers at less than $45,000, making it an excellent choice for just about any household.
For 2026, the Nightshade Edition is new and adds a little style to the middle of the trim lineup courtesy of black wheels and exterior trim. Otherwise, the Camry is unchanged.

Trim Levels
Riding on 16-inch wheels and with cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, the entry-level LE trim relies heavily on the basic goodness and comfort of the Camry for its appeal. It does, however, boast an appealing roster of tech features, including LED exterior lighting, remote keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, six speakers, and an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The SE (along with the Nightshade Edition and XSE) rides on a sport-tuned suspension with tweaked springs and dampers, as well as sturdier anti-roll bars and paddle shifters that allow the driver to work through preselected gear ratios. Inside, the SE’s synthetic leather seating and aluminum pedals add to the sportier atmosphere. It’s otherwise similar to the LE but includes 18-inch wheels and a power-adjustable driver seat.
The Nightshade Edition is based on the SE, but it features black finishes on its 19-inch wheels, rocker panels, badging and grille.
The XLE and XSE add luxury features to the LE and SE, respectively. The XLE rides on 18-inch wheels and includes upgraded LED exterior lighting, chrome window trim and keyless entry. Its cabin boasts genuine leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable passenger seat, ambient lighting, 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. The XSE gains the same luxury features as the XLE plus 19-inch wheels.
Standard and Available Safety Features
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard on every 2026 Camry and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure prevention, lane-centering steering, automatic high beams and road-sign recognition. Blind spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.
The only optional safety technologies on the 2026 Toyota Camry are offered on the XLE and XSE. The Premium Plus Package adds lane-change assist, traffic-jam assist, front cross-traffic alert, a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, a head-up display and a driver-attention monitor.

Powertrain Specs and MPG
The only powertrain available in the 2026 Camry is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with hybrid assistance; it makes a total of 225 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard. All-wheel drive fits a second electric motor on the rear axle, bumping total output to 232 hp; it’s available for $1,525 on every trim level. Power is routed through a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The Camry LE is the fuel-economy leader in the lineup; Toyota says it returns the same EPA-estimated 53/50/51 mpg city/highway/combined with FWD and 51/49/50 mpg with AWD as the 2025 model (official EPA ratings for 2026 are not yet available). The rest of the Camry family is rated at 48/47/47 mpg with FWD and 46/46/46 mpg with AWD with the exception of the XSE AWD, which returns 44/43/44 mpg.
