The F-Sport Package here works similarly as the one found on the 2012 Lexus CT 200h. There’s no added horsepower; instead, what you get is new exterior ground effects and other aesthetic changes, as well as a sport-tuned suspension. The old 2011 Lexus GS had F-Sport accessories, too — like 19-inch forged alloy wheels and Bilstein shock absorbers — but it didn’t have an all-encompassing sport package, like this one.

The GS F-Sport Package includes a new bumper design, a mesh grille, rear spoiler and diffuser, and F-Sport badging. The model will also come with unique 19-inch staggered-width wheels (larger ones in the rear), which Lexus claims are the largest rear wheels ever placed on a Lexus, at least on the rear-wheel-drive model. The suspension features thicker anti-roll bars, bushing changes and new larger front brakes and friction pads. There’s also an F-Sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension system that comes standard.

The model will be available in two unique exterior colors — Riviera Red and Liquid Platinum — and three other colors will also be available on the regular GS 350.

In the cabin, the F-Sport Package will get aluminum trim, unique perforated leather upholstery, a black headliner and aluminum pedals. Unique red-colored upholstered leather will be an exclusive option on the F-Sport Package, Lexus says. A 16-way powered front seat comes standard, too.

Pricing hasn’t been announced for the F-Sport Package, nor has it been announced for any 2013 Lexus GS, either.  The 2013 GS 350 goes on sale early next year.
