Mini is nearing the end of a complete overhaul of its entire lineup in just two years. With every model having recently been redesigned, the brand is on a cooldown lap of sorts, with only minor updates for the 2026 model year.

What’s New for 2026?

For all S models, there’s a new John Cooper Works Style Package available that brings the look and some of the athleticism of the JCW cars — but not the power — to a more affordable price point. For $1,200 on the Cooper and $1,400 on the Countryman, the JCW Style Package includes a body kit, wheels and adaptive dampers.

In news that may not matter at all or may make somewhat of a difference, black stripes are now available with a wider variety of body and roof colors. Depending on trim level and options, black stripes can be added to vehicles with black, white and body-color roofs, as well as the available Multitone roof, which fades from blue at the front of the car to white at the back.

Mini is also offering a new black 18-inch wheel option on the Countryman S. Additionally, all vehicles except convertibles with keyless entry and start will now include Digital Key Plus for cars made on or after July 1, which allows owners to use a paired smartphone as the vehicle key.
