LS

The base LS trim’s list of standard equipment includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, tri-zone climate control and an 8-inch touchscreen. It comes standard with a 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter V-8 that’s paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, but an optional Duramax turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder is good for 277 hp and 460 pounds-feet of torque. The LS also comes with standard rear-wheel drive; four-wheel drive is optional. Pricing for the RWD LS starts at $55,995 (all prices include destination charge); 4WD adds $3,000 to this and all other trims except the Z71, where it comes standard.

LT

Buyers have a choice of two engines and rear- or four-wheel drive, but the LT builds on the LS by adding more equipment: The infotainment system is upgraded to a bigger 10.2-inch touchscreen with Google Built-In software capability. Standard equipment includes a nine-speaker Bose premium audio system, a wireless charging pad, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a hands-free liftgate. The LT starts at $61,495.

RST

The RST, starting at $64,095, allows the Tahoe to tap into some of Chevrolet’s performance heritage thanks to model-exclusive trim accents as well as the available RST Performance Edition’s 433-hp, 6.2-liter V-8 — an increase of 13 hp over other trims’ 6.2-liter V-8 option. The standard RST makes do with the aforementioned base 5.3-liter V-8 and optional turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six engines.

Z71

If rough trails are part of your commute, the Tahoe Z71 has you covered, starting at $66,095. Unlike the LS and LT, the Z71 benefits from revamped front styling that helps enhance ground clearance while also incorporating trail-ready features like a front-mounted skid plate, all-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch wheels and an optional adaptive air suspension that gives drivers greater control over ground clearance. While the diesel engine isn’t available with the Z71, buyers can opt for a 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8.

Premier

The Premier starts at $69,395 and is the trim where the 2023 Tahoe begins its transformation into a luxury offering. Leather seats and a 10-speaker Bose audio system are standard. Power-operated second- and third-row seats add convenience, while a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a dual exhaust system adds more growl to the exhaust note. Super Cruise is available and allows the Tahoe to have a degree of autonomy when out on mapped freeways with adaptive cruise control and hands-free lane changes.

High Country

Serving as the proverbial top of the mountain in the Tahoe family at $74,695, the High Country also represents the pinnacle of luxury for the lineup. The High Country gets heated and ventilated front seats, leather seats in the first two rows and wood trim, plus available Super Cruise capability and the option of the 6.2-liter V-8. A sleek set of 22-inch wheels and special badging complete the exterior touches.
