Brakes failed while driving on I-20.

My trailer brakes failed on I-20. I was advised by my brother to go to Herndon. Good advice. Marcus Sumpter took excellent care of me because of my predicament. Service crew had me up and running in a few hours, heading home the next morning. Thank you Marcus and Herndon team, John Dawson

Do not buy a previously owned vehicle here !!!!!

Do not buy a used car at this dealership. We purchased a automobile for our to be 16 year old daughters birthday gift. We were told vehicle was inspected and certified and was not. Car was sold with active recalls and transmission failed in less than 750 miles. The Dealership offered nothing. Vehicle had 47000 miles when purchased. With high profits on used cars you would think they would have offered something toward the repair for at least reputation sake. You buy from here there is no buyer appreciation and no stand behind a product they sell. Contacted Chevrolet and made complaint. I am not in a habit to make reviews but want to save others from what we are going through. I wish I could post pics on here. I could show the contract purchased mileage and the dash with the miles and the dash with transmission failure on the illustration. It is a sad experience. Seeing my daughter with her new car undrivable is so depressing. Purchase from a dealer that stands behind there product and sells real inspected certified previously owned vehicles.

Do not buy here!! Bought Daughters first Car here

Do not buy a used car at this dealership. We purchased a automobile for our to be 16 year old daughters birthday gift. We were told vehicle was inspected and certified and was not. HERNDON CHEVROLET SERVICE

Had my car all day Wednesday because engine light was on!! Then after having it all day tell me they need to take off the remote start that was put on by dealership where I bought truck? mind you it was RICK HENDRICK CHEVROLET, where I purchased this 2018 truck!! Herndon won?t take of remote start because it?s after market!! So I have to bring truck back in on Friday!! So company that installed remote start can remove it to make sure that?s not problem!! Mind you this is a TCM code coming up transmission module code!! So Friday morning he takes remote starter off and of course code still comes up so it?s not remote start so complete waste of my time all day Wednesday!! Did not have a loaner car for me for first day of service on a engine light issue so I received a shuttle ride home!! Then brought vehicle back for further service, showed up at 8:00 am so they could check car further!! Came to me at 8:30 and said it would be at least an hour before they would know what it could be told them I would stay till 10:00 at that moment but at 10:00 I would need a loaner car!! Said ok, didn?t bother to mention then the had no loaner cars at that or wouldn?t have anything as far as loaner cars until middle of the week!! So sat there until 10:15 and then told them I needed a loaner car!! Then manager tells me at 10:40 they won?t have any loaner cars until middle of next week!! So I tell them I need a rental car then! They say ok that they will set me up with a rental from enterprise , so no problem!!! This mind you is after management is involved so they tell me at 10:45 to go back to lobby enterprise will be here shortly to pick me up!!! I wait till 11:30 nothing!! So I call rental myself and enterprise say dealership didn?t request a pick up and also they have no car for me!! Frustrated after that I get my keys and new truck and call love Chevrolet and speak to service manager they will provide me a loaner and take care of my issues on my truck!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO HERNDON CHEVROLET FOR SERVICE!!! Very poor customer service!!!

Dishonest mgmt.

Mgrs. (2) in corner office insulted my integraty and my character. Refuse to deal with them. Sales Mgr and Brian are OK to deal eith, but don't think the 2 guys in corner office will do anything for you. You can get better pricing elswhere. Do your homework BEFORE GOING TO HERNDON

Horrible customer service

I went to the dealership looking for a specific vehicle and they did not have it on their lot, but they ensured me that they would locate and acquire the vehicle I was looking for. I had to help them locate the vehicle I was wanting and they ensured me that they contacted that dealership and would get it for me. I did all the financing paperwork to purchase the vehicle that they claimed they were able to acquire only to find out that the vehicle was sold the same day that I did the paperwork. They notified me 3 days later that the vehicle was sold previously while they scrambled to find another vehicle to fit my needs, so they said. They stated that they attempted to find me another vehicle, but they never contacted any other dealerships to try and locate a vehicle for me. I know this because I ended up buying from a dealership in Georgia whose information I gave to Herndon about a vehicle in their inventory only to find out that Herndon never contacted said dealership to attempt to acquire it. They showed no remorse in the fact that they screwed me over and made no attempt to correct it. They never apologized or made any attempt to correct their error. At that point I was just a number in their books. Also, a week after I did all the financing paperwork I am still waiting on my deposit to be refunded. I will never do business with Herndon again, and will advise my family and friends to do the same.

Service Department didn't answer phone, phone mail or e-mail

10/23/2018 - I tried to schedule an appointment to change my oil and have them rotate tires they sold me. No one answered the phone in the service department. I left message with my phone number. When I hadn't heard from them hours later, sent an e-mail and got a response that my request was being passed to the appropriate department. More than a day later, nothing.

Service price high

Herndon Chevrolet quoted me $265 to install a trailer hitch on my Chevy Bolt. The hitch was sold by Chevrolet and made to fit my car. There were just four bolts and no holes to drill or welding to do. Another dealer did it for me for $64.

B/S Dealership

Found a truck I really wanted on cars.com, went to the dealer website just to make sure it was still on the site and same price. I needed to find a truck with a LOT of rebates bc my trade was about 12-14k upside down according to 3 other dealerships. so when I found this truck it was perfect for me and just what I wanted. Got in touch with a sales rep and started the process, mind you this dealership is 3 hrs away from me so I wanted to make sure it could happen before I made the trip to buy. I kept looking at the truck on both websites over and over for the next few hrs just for S&Gs and after a few hours I realized that the price on the dealers website had “magically” changed to a way higher price but stayed the same on cars.com... I got a little worried and told the sales guy who acted like he didn’t know why that happened and would figure it out. The next day I refreshed the cars.com page and it too “magically” changed.... hmmm ok. So told the sales guy again and he said the same thing again. It took them “3” days after the process started to tell me that I was upside down 20k and there was nothing they could do.... AFTER the sales guy told me the first day they offer the best for trade-ins... HA yeah right!!! So y’all did the bait and switch on me and wasted my flipping time for the days AND shotgun blasted my credit just to lie to me.... really....??!!?? So flipping shady and I would never recommend this place to anyone ever!!!! Shame on this dealership!!!

B/S Dealership
