Repairs on 2000 Ford Ranger

The repairs were completed on time and everything was fixed. Service advisor was very helpful.

Great Experience

The salespeople were very kind and not pushy. They worked together as a team to meet my needs. You can tell they were not commissioned and were more interested in finding the right vehicle at payments that were acceptable. I enjoyed the people I worked with in the process.

Oil change

I found the Service Rep to be friendly and courteous. I had to wait while he processed the lady in front of me. Was wondering why the other 3 service reps would not put down their coffee and process me. My appointment was for 7:30 am, first oil change of the day. I had arrived at 7:15. It was 8:35 before they took my truck in the shop to service. So now what should have been only an hour, took 2. My time is as valuable as theirs, so my thoughts are, why make appointments if the dealership will not honor them. In addition, I don?t believe my tires were rotated. I had cleaned them the day before with tire detailer and when I got the truck back, there were no signs that the tires were handled in any way.

Terrible experience

We had a bad experience at Fort Mill Ford. They take every opportunity to bill diagnostic charges that are not necessary. Goodyear diagnosed our problem (bad PCM Module) with a 1 hr. diagnostic charge ($125) but could not repair because it required Ford to program the new part. Fort Mill charged 3 hrs. diagnostic charge (over $400) to come to the same conclusion. Once new PCM module was installed, this resulted in the AdvanceTrac light on the instrument panel staying on. This was the first time this had ever happen and we figured it was related to the new PCM module. Fort Mill wanted to charge another 1 hr. diagnostic charge regarding the AdvanceTrac rather than contact Ford Tech Support for help. We refused to pay. They finally contacted Ford. When we went to pick up the car, you guessed it, the AdvanceTrac light was still on. They called Ford again and it was finally fixed. It was all about properly reprogramming the new PCM module. How long did they have our car? Over 2 weeks. We were not pleased.

Very friendly Customer service. My salesman, William Kennedy was awesome. Hassle free and very knowledgeable through the whole buying process. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I will use this dealer again, when I need another vehicle.

HORRIBLE experience

We dropped off our car on Friday to be repaired for some issues we were having with it. Because of the incredibly high price they were quoting us, we decided to go with another mechanic to give us a more fair price. It is now Wednesday, the mechanics at Ford have literally done nothing to my car besides check it, and I have been waiting an hour and 45 minutes to PICK UP my car. They can't take the time to simply pull my car to the front and hand me the keys. So no, I will never be coming here again. My time is more valuable than how they have been treating it.
