Went in for oil change on prepaid maintenance plan and
Went in for oil change on prepaid maintenance plan and the dreaded cam phaser rattle. I was suggested to replace rear brakes and machine rotors. After 4 days and $400 for brakes, the cam phaser rattle is still there. Apparently due to parts being on backorder. Picked up vehicle and still driving while I wait. I was told the cam phaser rattle would not further damage anything else. So I am still waiting for repair.

Hello, I took my vehicle back in on April 28,2022 upon the advisors request to have the engine shudder recall performed prior to having the cam phaser recall performed to address the cam phaser rattle. After this I picked up the vehicle (still making the cam phaser rattle noise). The advisor checked in with my and asked if the noise was still present to which I responded yes. I was then asked to bring it back in to be diagnosed again. I took the vehicle back in on May 17, 2022 and I am now being told the cam phaser recall is not showing up for my vehicle and that it will have to be routed through my extended warranty. By June 1, 2022 my vehicle was still not assigned to a technician so I asked for a loaner. Even after multiple calls I am unable to speak to a manager and have not received a loaner or estimated time for completion. Someone please help. I understand there may be some inconveniences due to availability of personnel or parts etc. , but it should not be passed down to the customer.
