Missleading Promotion

The Money Carlo promotion this weekend is very misleading. My gigantic flyer says I'm a $5000.00 winner.......but upon further review and a phone call that's not how the flyer should be read. They won't know my prize until I show up there........needless to say I didn't make the trip.

Theyre a horrible dealership, don't care if they rip you off

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM KOPPY MOTORS!!!!!! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!!! I bought a 2010 Land Rover LR2 from the about 6 weeks ago. Paid 18,000 plus I got the warranty they offered. They told me there were no problems with it and that they had fixed everything from the previous owner. Two days ago my car started overheating and my check engine light came on. I have only had this car for 40 days, and haven't even made my first payment on it. I spoke with someone who is knowledgable with cars and he informed me that it was most likely the coolant fan. I called the dealership to see what my warranty covered and they couldn't give me any answers. Just told me to bring it to a mechanic and have them contact the warranty company. I asked several times if the radiator coolant fan would be covered and they said I would just have to bring it in to a mechanic. I brought it into a mechanic and they told me it needs a new radiator coolant fan, a new radiator coolant module, my spark plugs are failing, I need a new ignition coil, and it needs a new oxygen sensor. I had given them the warranty information and apparently my $4,000 warranty only covers internal lubricated moving parts. I spoke with the dealership today and they told me to contact Zack, a sales manager I believe. He didn't answer my first call and I left a message. I called again about a half hour later and he told me he would pull up my file and check my warranty, and stated that my warranty should cover more than what the mechanic was told. He said he'd pull my file and give me a call back. An hour later, I still didn't hear anything, and tried to call him and got no answer. About half hour later, the employee that had originally sold me the car, Chad, called me and said he would look at my file and see what the warranty covers and call me back. An hour later, I still hadn't received a call back. I called there again and spoke with Dan. He asked me to email over the diagnostic results and that my best bet would be to bring it in to their service shop and have them look at it. I'm about 120 miles away, and I asked if I got it towed there if I would have to pay for parts and labor, and he told me he wasn't quite sure. So why would I pay $300 to have it towed there and then have to pay the $2500 in repair fees? Not to mention, they couldn't do the work on it when they first had it and had sent it down to American imports to be fixed. I emailed them my diagnostic report at about 2pm today before I had to work. Called back at 5:15 and was told that Dan was out of the office. I asked them if they could have him call me back around 6:15 when I have my 30 minute break. I called back a little after 6 and was told he was tied up with things and sent to voice mail. I called back at 630 and spoke with Dan again and he said that I should get a second opinion because sometimes mechanics just like to 'look for work.' He recommended me to tow it down to their service shop and that he may be able to provide discounted parts and discounted labor. I called back to get a better idea of what the discount would be but he was not there and this is where I'm at right now. I sent an email and left a voice mail on Friday, and they are open Saturday and also today (Monday), and when I called today, I was told he wasn't working. I understand that I may just be a very unlucky person and all of these things just happened to go bad after I bought the car, but you would think a decent dealership would at least have a little remorse if you bought the car less than two months ago and be able to help me more than just telling me to get it towed and that they 'may be able to offer a discount.' No the owner, Dan, won't even take my calls anymore. I will continue to update you all on my situation. Please do not waste your time with these people! They are very rude and do not care about you as a customer after they get your signatures and money. Please rethink and buy somewhere else!! If anyone has any questions feel free to personal message me for more info.

Bad business practice

Koppy is having an event this weekend. They sent out flyers with prizes. However you don't win the prize it shows. Instead their salespeople try to get all your information and run your credit. We will never buy from them.

Very Satisfied

Website very helpful, liked all the pictures of vehicle,it helped us decide. Staff very friendly,we knew what vehicle we wanted to look at, they had it ready and waiting when we got there, our sales rep Chad was great, answered all our questions, went to take it for test drive and passenger door handle broke, they got me in pretty quickly to get new one put on(said might take 2 hours, but service dept rep said might be able to do in an hour if I got it in first thing in am,so next am I get there, they were shorthanded, but he kept promise and got me out of there in LESS than an hour. Everyone there was very pleasant to work with, they made it quick and easy. We had just been dealing with issues with both our vehicles, one of them more than once in previous month,so it was nice that it was so easy. This was our first purchase of a foreign car, couldn't figure out how to make some things work (headlights, how to get hatch open, windshield wiper/washer operation, etc.) Chad was great, told me to come in and he showed me how they all worked, car didn't have a Manual, he ordered one for us, when tabs for plates came in, they went to put them on,found out only had one plate under dealer plates, they ordered new ones, put them on for me. Overall it was probably best car buying experience we've had, my husband didn't have to haggle over price and financing like he had in the past at other dealers. I absolutely recommend Koppy Motors to anyone who wants a quick and pleasant car buying experience.

Van Purchase

I took a long trip to see the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. The vehicle was ready, warmed up, and good to go for an inspection and test drive. The sales rep was friendly and knowledgeable. No hassles, no pressure, no issues. I was happy to do business with them.

Awesome Staff!!

Was shopping for a used vehicle and came across one i liked on the internet. I called them up and headed over to see to it. As soon as I got there they knew who I was and what I was interested in. They had the vehicle ready to be test driven. After the test drive a sat down to discuss numbers. Real easy to negotiate with not like other dealers who think they are on Pawn Stars!! The transaction was seamless and painless. The next time I am looking for another vehicle I will start with them

Bought a nice used car.

Was looking for a good used car for a family member. Needed to have reliable transportation. Got the car at a fair price and so far it has been performing well. Only needed to put in some minimal dollars to get it how I like it. Mostly accessories. They were up front on the history of the car and what had been done to it. Definitely a place to consider if you are looking for a car.
