Our buying process lacked transparency. We found a demo car driven by a manager with less than 5,000 miles. We asked over and over to see the original sticker since the car was from Lexus of Clear Lake. Our salesman kept saying he was unable to find it yet was able to print out what options came with the vehicle. When I totaled up the options plus base price, I knew we must be paying over invoice of a car that should be discounted with 5,000 miles. Salesman reminded us we were getting an extra 2 year warranty since it was being sold as a precertified vehicle so we accepted the price. When the GM reached out to welcome us to Lexus of Clear Lake, she asked if there was anything she could do for us. I asked if she could have someone send me the invoice and as I suspected, we paid $2,000 over invoice on a preowned car. It was our decision to move forward with the sale but I am truly disappointed in the lack of transparency from the dealership. That?s not the reputation of Lexus of Clear Lake from the many years of being a part of this community. It is now under new ownership. Just want others to be aware that prices may not be what they should be and there are signs everywhere saying we don?t haggle and the price listed is what you pay. To me, this is not the way to run a business especially when the customer requested the invoice prior to the sale.

We had an exceptional experience purchasing our vehicle from Lexus Clear Lake. From the time we walked in the door, everyone was welcoming, professional and focused on helping us find the right car without any pressure. Rafael Perez was very knowledgeable and made the process smooth, transparent, and stress free from start to finish. The sales manager and finance manager were also great. I highly recommend Lexus Clear Lake.

My previous advisor retired so I chose to work with Cheyenne bc she helped me when I purchased my vehicle. I was happy when I found out she had transitioned to service. I couldn’t be happier. She’s honest, efficient and good communicator - great to work with.

Group 1 of Clearlake were great to work with. Melissa was my sales person and she was fantastic! She knew everything about the car I was interested in and made sure we had all the facts. From now on any new vehicle I get will be from this dealership.
