I recently visited Route 44 Hyundai in Raynham to purchase a vehicle. While everything seemed fine initially, the car was supposed to be detailed upon delivery, but it clearly wasn't. Despite visible crumbs and scuff marks, the General Manager, Andre Mendes, defended the detailer's work and refused to address the issues. I believe the dealership could have secured positive reviews and repeat customers by simply offering to re-detail the car as a courtesy. Instead, Andre's demeanor suggested I write a negative review, and advised that I spell his name correctly. Although Angelo (absolute asset and godsend), Edgar, and Calvin demonstrated professionalism and kindness, my encounters with William Rosato and Andre Mendes were deeply disappointing. As a family-owned business led by Bobby Barboza, I expected higher standards. I now feel the need to advise others to avoid Route 44 Hyundai in Raynham. PS: To all buyers, ensure promised actions are obtained in writing and take photos of the car before signing to address any issues.

I just purchased a ,2022 Hyundai Elantra from Mark Pereira. Mark was a great help throughout the process answered all my questions and after the purchase was completed (days later) he help set me up with Blue Link.

Very disappointing experience at Route 44 Hyundai on
Very disappointing experience at Route 44 Hyundai on 7/3/24. As a prospective client, I didn’t realize that I was going to waste my afternoon there, but that’s what happened. After reaching a deal on a new Santa Fe Hybrid, the dealership tried to add on a $3,500 “market adjustment” because the vehicle is a hybrid. I declined to purchase. The days of “market adjustments” are over now that COVID isn’t a strong factor. The salesman told me that if I agreed to purchase the vehicle that day, the market adjustment would be removed. I agreed. When I asked to see everything in writing… that’s when the deal fell apart. They said one thing verbally, but would not commit to what they said in writing on the payment worksheet. They claimed to have removed the market adjustment - only to have another staff member approach me to tell me that they wanted another $15,000 cash down from me to make the monthly payments that we settled on work. He said there was in error in communication. I said there was no error, I asked about the payment and down payment structure multiple times and was told it was agreed upon for the terms on the worksheet. They didn’t honor the worksheet deal that the sales manager agreed upon with me. It was a confusing and unethical way of “conducting” business. As a buyer, I was verbally told certain things leading me to believe we reached an agreement on the purchase of the vehicle. When I wanted it in writing to do a final review - everything fell apart. All of my time just wasted. It was like having two entirely different experiences in the same visit… I have no words. The end of the story…. Route 44 Hyundai was very misleading in their finance practices. I had to walk out of the dealership because they kept telling me different things and I was truly exhausted. I am unable to recommend this dealership. If you go there, please get everything in writing up front when trying to structure a deal with them, but be careful of what they tell you in the process. Know your facts ahead of time, and be prepared for the possibility of the dealership changing the deal on you.

Inflated prices , out 10k could buy new car.
Inflated prices, got overpriced over 10k, horrible horrible, never trust. Not happy and make sure tell as much people i can not go there. Sad that people get scamed and taken advantage off

Never buy here!!
They ALL suck, from the condescending sales staff, incompetent management and shoddy service department!! I bought a 7 passenger vehicle in November 2022, which took 5 days to receive the vehicle. They added in a bogas $2k charge to finance AFTER I signed and STILL have not fixed the vehicle issues in September 2023!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would!
If I could give zero stars I would! I went in last week to look at a new Tucson, I specifically told the salesman I wanted to see an SEL model, not SEL with Convience package and certainly not an XRT model. But what does he do? Rather than tell me that there are no SEL models on the lot, he proceeds to bring me an XRT, which no offense, is the UGLIEST Tucson model there is and it was priced way, way too high for me. I am sick and tired of not being listened to when I go to a car dealership! I will never go back to this dealer, they suck! And they don’t care about what their customers want!

Aaron W was AMAZING! He made sure that I felt good about my purchase and supported me throughout the financing process. He is extremely personable - I highly recommend going to Aaron. Everyone else at the dealership (reception and other sales persons) were very kind!

Do not bother with these losers.
Do not bother with these losers. Had appointment to test drive a Tucson Hybrid (Blue Model). Austin called me an hour before my appointment to confirm I was coming. He did not however bother to check to see if they still had one on the lot. So I drove there for nothing. They told me they sold the last on @ 7:00 PM the night before. Of course if Austin had any consideration for my time he would have check the morning of my appointment and instead of confirming my appointment he would have let me know that the car I wanted to test drive was not longer available.

Do not bother with these losers. Had appointment to test drive a Tucson Hybrid (Blue Model). Austin called me an hour before my appointment to confirm I was coming.
