Ask for DeShawnne & Alex - Superb, Amazing Service. Top notch Customer-First Oriented. I will be going here for LIFE. As a MSPA, and IASE member, I know INCREDIBLE good service when I see it. These guys will take care of you! DeShawnne was our Rep. and worked hard to get us the best deal we could get. Blunt Honesty, Hard Work, and Amazing Customer Service is what makes these guys tick. I love how our Sales Rep DeShawnne was upfront and did his research to get us the most reliable car in their used section. When a problem popped up because of a he-said she-said at the next department, DeShawnne worked incredibly hard to get it fixed and taken cared for, with as little inconvenience to us as possible. He REALLY WANTED TO MAKE SURE, and be confident that we got a great deal, and great car that wouldn't have problems down the road - because these guys know, their integrity is on the line here. I have evaluated A LOT of customer service employees, and DeShawnne REALLY went out of his way to make sure that we were BEYOND taken cared for and satisfied. I didn't know any of the car's functions of even how to turn it how because of it's Hybrid status, and DeShawnne took the time to explain each feature until I was comfortable with how the car operated. He Didn't Pressure us, or make us feel rushed. He literally ran around to accommodate us THE WHOLE TIME. DeShawnne treated us better than a pampering spa. The Loan officer that we had was also mind blowing, as we really appreciated his blunt, but honest upfront approach to our financial application. He gave us TONS of tips on how the system works, what to watch out for, where to go or what to do in the future, in order to get the best of the best of any situation. He explained everything, and didn't care about niceties but only the truth. I love that - He was so friendly, but gave it to you like it is. No fake "yes you can get a car, but your doomed paying for life dealership" here. The building features some crazy awesome features as well. After visiting a couple hundred dealerships in my lifetime, I was pretty blown away by the overall quality that this dealership provides. If the customer service wasn't enough, they also have a pirate ship playground, tv sections for both the kids and adult guests of all ages, a hot drink area, snacks and popcorn section, with beautiful decor and seats. As for any problems that typically show up when buying a car, everyone is human and it's common for us to sometimes make mistakes, even dealerships. After buying my car, Alex was upfront with us that we weren't offcially approved yet when another department had told us we were. Which seemed like a lack of communication from one department to the next. So again we checked with our rep DeShawnne, and he made sure we were ALL in mutual understanding and satisfied before proceeding. Alex gave us his the honest facts about our situation, and we were able to plan for any hidden bumps or extra fees that a normal dealership would want to keep hidden from you. After about a day of having my vehichle home, I wasn't able to turn it on and called DeShawnne. He worked hard to fix it fast, and even sought to come to my house to fix it! However, he was able to figure out over the phone that it was a problem in my key fob and took care of it that day in just a few minutes. Even though he was already busy, he made sure that any and all problems that had occured, or might occur in the future were covered. I will always go to DeShawnne @ Karl Malone in Sandy. I trust his advice, knowledge and integrity!!! He's the man you wanna see. If I ever have problems with my prius, I'll be sure to update here, but I know I can count of them. I can't say it enough, and I still haven't said it all. These guys are AWESOME. You wont go wrong! Ask for DeShawnne and Alex - and tell them the BRAZILIAN sent you, and I know they'll set you right

Worst experience ever!
From the beginning they talked to me like I was dumb, they then took over a month to finalize my loan and then the finance manager called me yelling at me as if I were a bad child which I proceeded to hang up on him three times in which I advised him I refused to speak to him again. He stated I could text him my insurance information, once I sent it to him and obviously sarcastically said "thanks for being so nice." He responded with "Thanks Mama, let me know if I can do anything personally for you." Wow. The audacity of this guy.., the finance MANAGER. After speaking to the other finance manager and expressing my frustration he simply laughed and stated "he didn't mean anything he is from a different country." As if that should excuse his behavior. I will never ever EVER buy another car from them and will spread the word to as many as people as possible to never EVER go there!

Joke!
Brought my 2015 Tundra 4x4 in because of a leaking right rear shock. Had an appointment and still told it could be 1.5 hours. Brenda Bench needs to find a new job because she's certainly not happy as an advisor. To top things off, I get to likely bring it back for the repair because they won't have the shock. Why would you not have this shock in stock? Entire staff has been great but Brenda is not helpful at all. Scott was great as my salesman and Alex assisted me with the paperwork...also great! I would recommend this dealership as long as they don't have to deal with Brenda!

Great Sales Experience
Worked with James from Karl Malone Toyota. He is very knowledgeable on all the specifics of Toyota but specifically the Tacoma. I knew I had a good rep when he was just as passionate about selling me the most or least expensive car on the lot. He shared facts with me, not allowing a rude or overly friendly emotion determine how he trated me as we viewed a wide spectrum of vehilces. I had a great experience and would reccommend my friends and family to work with James and those at Toyota.

Miscommunication
Buying a car ended up being a comedy of errors due to miscommunications. Ended up with a nice car but not what we were in the market for. Financial guy was nice but a fast talker who added on extras I wouldn't normally have purchased. I didn't argue because I thought is was getting a great price on a car I thought I was buying. It wasn't until everything was signed and we were doing the walk through that we realized we were talking about 2 different cars. We did most of our communicating over the phone and email as I live 4 hrs away. Bottom line we ended up with a car we love but the experience was far less than satisfying. My advice: slow them down and make sure everything the salesman offers is written down. Funny thing is by micommunicating the dealership cost themselves (hence saved us) about $5000. We are just driving a Camry instead of an Avalon or Camry hybrid.

Service?
I realize that Karl Malone doesn't really run this dealership. He's too cool and careful for that. I waited 3 hours and a half hours for slip-shot work in a lube and inspection, and my passenger side window is still not working. Seems like Malone's missin' the winning points. Even the police won't pass this one. What to do? Service? Hardly.

Review on treatment when servicing a 2013 corolla
We bought a 2013 Corolla that was fully loaded and bought the extra service and warranty on it in September of 2013. It is now March of 2015. Not even a year and a half later and barely 18,000 miles on it, the front brake start squealing. We call them up and set up an appointment with a service tech by the name of Corban. He was great! The car was just past the mileage for the warranty on the brakes and he was still able to replace them at no cost! But he was not the reason for the bad service and one star rating. I go in the next day to pick up car, which by the way I was picked up for free all the way in sugarhouse by Bob, he was great too...... So now to tell you why I rate them 1 star and had one of the worst car service experience and car buying experience I have ever had. When we first bought the car there was a gouge on the hood and a couple scratches on the roof. Before we had made a deal to buy it they said that they would fix those scratches and gouges for us. So when I went in to pick up the car the next day I talked to a service tech by the name of Carl. Carl did not even greet me as I walked up to his desk and I had to ask him if he could help me out. I asked him if they could also fix those scratches that they said they would and he grudgingly looked up the info on it. He was very ambiguous with his replies and told me that there are no notes in there about that and that there is nothing he could do. I had forgotten who the sales woman was that had helped us in September of 2013 but she was not very knowledgeable about her job in the first place, which is fine everyone has to learn but if you promise a customer something then it is very important to follow through anyway that you can. Example given, right down notes in the system, tell your coworkers and managers. I sold flooring for years and I would put alarm reminders in my phone whenever I promised a customer something so that I would follow through. To get to the point, I had to go into the office area and ask for a supervisor to get anymore help. I am not the owner of the car but I am on the registration and insurance and I work for the owner. She is a very busy person and this is just one of her many cars so she has paid help like me to run errands like this. When the supervisor Gary comes out to help me, I begin to explain to him that the service tech Carl was not very helpful and also how it was promised that the scratches would be fixed. I also told him that I needed to ask Carl to call the owner to work that out while I was there. That was the point when the supervisor Gary started smiling and chuckling at me and said "well it is difficult when there is a middle man". Having been in customer service for so long that was the wrong answer! They are still getting there business regardless who has to bring the car in for service. Gary then took me out to the service area and we got the service tech Carl and when and looked at the paperwork in the car. Apparently there was still nothing written on the documents about the scratches. Carl took the paperwork in and Gary then explained how there was nothing they could do and I told them that they needed to call the owner to tell her that. Ok so on top of all this, I was there to buy a new Camry as well. I then asked Gary, the supervisor, if he could set me up with a salesman to look at Camrys. He explained that he would find the best and took me to the sales floor. He went into an office area and two guys came out with him. One was in front of the other and so I go to greet him first with a handshake and he backs away and says that he is a bit under the weather and that I shouldn't shake his hand and then the other gentlemen behind him by the name of Jeff Robinett was the salesman that they were setting me up with. I?ll get to the point with Jeff. He first off told me that he was not a regular salesman and that he does everything on the internet. He was very rude. I will not be buying a car from here.
