My brother purchased his first car with EMG and it was discovered that the oil pan was cracked as well as the bolts stripped. when asked to replace the staff refused to consider the issue and forbade us from speaking with management attesting a policy that managers do not speak with customers regarding these issues. In my opinion, anyone looking for reliability, accountability, and customer service ought to avoid this place outright.

BUNCH OF CROOKS!
I purchased a 2008 Mazda Tribute from EMG on 8/8/2015. I walked into the Jersey City location and worked out a $1,000 deposit on this car, I didn't have the $ so they let me sign a promissory note for $1,000 that was due 9/1/2015 upon a check I was awaiting. I have yet to pay them the $1,000. On 10/8/15 my ENGINE SEIZED ON 1/9 EXPRESSWAY & I was almost in a very bad accident because of this. I immediately called EMG and they couldnt careless about me or my situation. I was greeted by Lenny from Jersey City location on the phone and his first words after hearing my situation was "Oh Nicole, what happened to the $1000 we aren't going to register you until you pay us that". Very nice, considering I was almost in a huge accident and crying on the phone. He told me I can tow it to their Avenel location but I would be responsible for all repairs because I bought an as is car, WHAT?! But how the xxxx did my engine seize (WITH NO OIL BEING IN THE TANK BEING THE REASON!) when your salesman told me the car had just been serviced with and oil/filer changed, brakes& rotors changed. My sticker for my oil change still shows another 1,000 miles till service needed. & I don't drive much at all. There was never an oil light or check engine light to ever come up. I WAS SOLD A VEHICLE IN WHICH THEY KNEW HAD PRIOR ISSUES, A LEMON!! Also, while overlooking my sales agreements for any warranty info, I came across another lie, they told the bank I am financing w/ that I put a $3800 deposit on this car, THAT IS UNTRUE!! I signed a promissory note for $1,000! They frauded the bank to get me an approval and sold me a car that they knew they could take a lose on. I immediately called the bank & they told me EMG sent proof of $3800 deposit in form of receipt, funny because I have voicemails in which they admit to not registering my car until I pay them $1,000 on 9/11 proving that they never had a complete amount of $ like they are telling the bank they received from me. They never registered my car until this Friday, 10/16. Over 2 months from being paid by my bank for the vehicle, and thats only because I called last Weds questioning this whole thing again & letting them know I was calling a lawyer & Lennys answer was IDK HOW THE DEAL WAS WORKED OUT WHEN YOU GOT THERE, WE HELPED YOU GET IN A CAR THOUGH. Yea into a car you knew was a lemon & took advantage of a young girl buying her first car, lying to me & involved my name in a fraudulent act w/ a bank! I will be pursuing legal matters against this dealership. They are a bunch of frauds and everyone should steer very very clear from this place!!!!! The car needs a completely new engine is wont even turn on. $4500 in repairs!! Beware!!!!!!

Terrible Experience. Don't buy from them.
I purchased a car from this dealership about 3 weeks ago and it has been a nightmare. I was told no one had ever smoked in the car and when it was delivered it smelled like an ashtray. I specifically asked if it had been smoked in and was promised it hadn't. I purchased this car from out of state and had it delivered. The mileage from the signed sales agreement was also 2,500 miles different when it was delivered. The rear sunshade was torn. I let the dealer know this the day it was delivered and was pawned off to service then back to sales with no word from them in the last week. Save yourself a major headache and don't buy from them. There were more issues but those are the main ones. I mainly worked with Sam on this car and he hasn't been helpful at all. It also took them two weeks to send the title and they didn't send temporary tags. The Better Business Bureau is now handling this. They also charge $1,300 on top of the sales price as dealer fees and advertised the vehicle was still for sale three weeks after I bought it.

I know about car dealerships and they also knew I was knowledgeable on the process..but I said I would write this review because Jonathan broke my misconception of dealers putting themselves first. I wanted to help a friend get her car because she asked me, not only did Jonathan help us on numerous visits but he got her out of a Toyota into a BMW with a warranty and saved on her payment..can't beat that...this is my refer to all for great customer care.

great management
my sales consultant was Andrew Alvarez i came in for a 2011 EVO i been looking for this car for a while and i finally found the one i wanted all i can say is this kid here has a lot of potential and skills thanks a lot for looking out for me kid when u go to emg ask for Andrew hes one of the top sales man there!!!! go see him!!!!

My experience at EMG Autosales
I have to start off by saying that my experience with purchasing a car at this dealership was exceptional. As I walked into the dealer salesman Jonathan welcomed me into the dealership in a polite manner. Jonathan made me feel at ease with the purchase of my vehicle. He answered all my questions accordingly and gave me a good insight with important information in regards to my purchase. Its important when purchasing a vehicle to feel comfortable with the choice your are making and Jonathan did just that. He had lots of patience with me and kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I have to add as well that this dealership has an awesome management team . Client centered personal that is willing to put you in the right car. The Way of the Evo
I was looking to buy a 2003 Mitsubishi Evo i was online for a couple hours when I saw That Emg had a lot of them for sale. I called and spoke to sam he was really funny over the phone and made me feel better about coming in all the way from PA to new jersey for a car. Anyway I came in on friday and as soon as I saw my car i fell in love with it. I never purchased a car before and after sam made it very clear what I needed to leave with the car I did my part and he did his. I am super excited now that I am able to drive this bad boy everyday and I would defiantly come back one day maybe for another evo ask for sam when you stop by.

One of a Kind
After nearly a year of trying to find the car that I really wanted to purchase I thought all hope was lost. Than a friend recommended me to EMG auto sales after purchasing his new BMW not to long ago so I said what the heck what do I have to lose. Lets just say not only did I leave their lot in a new car, I also left there thinking not all dealerships are the same .
