My wife and I recently visited Audi Las Vegas to purchase
My wife and I recently visited Audi Las Vegas to purchase a vehicle. We were pre approved for a loan by our local credit union (Clark County Credit Union). We had the sales person (Alex Medel) apply to additional lenders to find a better rate. He was unable to find a better rate so we told him that we would be using our lender. This was a Friday evening and the credit union was closed, but I did speak to my loan officer and he told me to ask if they do backup contracts since the credit union was closed. Alex said they do, and he sent us on to the finance manager (Eveline Viterski) for signing. I asked her what the process was for the backup contract and she told me they don’t do that, and said that in order to use my lender I would have to sign with their lender and wait until the loan was funded and then refinance, or we would not be leaving with the vehicle. At this point we were already emotionally tied to the vehicle and she took advantage of that; we were basically pressured into going with their lender. We agreed and moved on with the contract. During the signing she was trying to sell additional products like Gap, extended warranty, maintenance plans, etc. We declined them all and she became pretty defensive asking us why, and what are we going to do if something happens. She was really pressuring us into purchasing these products. After the signing we leave, and a few days later Alex reaches out and says there was a clerical error (wife’s last name misspelled) on the contract, and their lender would kick-it back so we would have to come back to re-sign, and this would be an opportunity to use my lender. He also sent my wife a document (one and the same affidavit) to sign and send back. I put Alex in contact with my lender, he provides the purchase agreement to my lender, my lender has me sign the contract, and I go pick up the check and deliver it to Alex and sign the new contract. I get there and Alex tells me the documents aren’t ready and it would be a few more days. He offers me a tank of gas when I return for the inconvenience. I leave him the check and go my way. A few days later Evaline calls me to tell me that their lender actually funded the loan and she would be mailing my lender’s check back to me, and that I would have to refinance with my lender. At this point I have two loans funded under my name and have two payment due dates approaching. I called Alex to express my concern and questioned the reason of my wife signing the affidavit. He tells me “it’s an unfortunate event that doesn’t happen often, and that there is nothing that they can do about it, and the affidavit was not sent to the lender, only to their business office.” Now I am the one stuck with the responsibility of fixing this situation.

I’ve attempt multiple times to speak to the GM, but have been unable. There is no way of reaching the GM directly using the provided number. There is no operator to connect me to anyone using the provided number. I was able to get a hold of someone in finance, and was told that either the finance director or the GM will be informed and contact me. I also attempted to contact my salesperson and the finance manager, but have had no response.
