Today I purchased a new Volkswagen Tiguan from this

Today I purchased a new Volkswagen Tiguan from this store. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, previously having done a ton of my own research. From there I worked with Avery and Sandi who were both knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all my questions. They were patient with my indecision, showing me 3 different trims of the same model to make sure I was entirely happy with my choice, and even helped me figure out how to save the most with financing. The Finance Manager, Jason, was great as well. I feel like he got through the paperwork in record time! All employees I came into contact with were amazing! Very friendly and good conversationalists. I felt like I knew them and they made me super comfortable. I have to say, I actually enjoyed their company and was mostly chatting and laughing, I never felt pressured and didn't feel at all like I wasted a day buying a car. This is coming from someone who does NOT trust salesmen the majority of the time (sorry) and DREADS things like this. This place is fantastic! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will continue to recommend this store to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to car shop. Thanks for everything, guys!

Report this company to the Illinois Attorney General, the FTC, and the Department of Revenue for potential tax fraud. This company ran my credit seven times without my consent. I came with my own pre-approval letter specifying the bank I wanted to use, yet they disregarded my instructions and sent my information to multiple lenders. They also charged me over 11% in sales tax, which exceeds the legally allowable sales tax rates in Illinois. Additionally, they included add-on fees that were not disclosed on their website, which violates the Illinois Vehicle Advertising Regulations (Illinois Administrative Code Title 14, Section 475.590). Please do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. This business operates unethically and should be held accountable for their deceptive practices.

Absolutely slimey, sleezebags… I called to make sure I

Absolutely slimey, sleezebags… I called to make sure I was safe driving up there and I had my insurance paid for and financing lined up for the vehicle to purchase. They sold the vehicle out from underneath me and the only thing they could say to me was “first come first serve” even though I had been talking to them for 3 days in advance. Don’t buy from them, they don’t care about you, they just want a sale. Crappy unprofessional sales team.

Bait and switch.

Bait and switch. Rude manager. They add on “mandatory “ warranty’s $1900 for paint something or other and $871 theft. I called because their reviews were so bad before heading out and she said no the price is the price and when I got their I was told that stays on because they get added to the cars when they get them and they aren’t paying for it out of their pocket and they have to recoup that money. I said I’m not paying for something I didn’t ask for and don’t want as they wouldn’t keep up their end even if you needed to use that warranty. I told them I could just look at a different price point for cars if I’m going to add $2900 to the car. Billy seem to not get that concept. Ended at McGrath in St. Charles as my next and final stop. Highly recommend. Professional from front to back desk.

Don’t go to this dealership.

Don’t go to this dealership. Complete waste of time. Worked out a “deal” over text and email. Get to the dealership and the price quoted was thousands more. Wanted to trade my 2021 Tiguan SE R Line and they only offered to give me my payoff, which was $5500 less than my trade value. Tyler’s response is “I gotta make money too”. I had to ask for the keys to my car 3 times to leave. He wouldn’t give us our keys to leave and kept asking if we could make a deal. I was insulted and done at that point. Do yourself a favor and go to a different VW dealership.

Stay away, bunch of xxxxxxxx, online price for car

Stay away, bunch of xxxxxxxx, online price for car 25,700$ with taxes, they will not tell you out of the door price over the phone or email, you got to go there to fund out that 25,700$ online price will turn into 32,000$. What a joke. You better of buying car from drug dealer.

Called Gurnee Volkswagen to confirm the availability of a

Called Gurnee Volkswagen to confirm the availability of a car. They confirmed they had it. Drove 45 minutes to get there, only to be told they had traded it to another dealer 20 minutes ago. Absolutely putrid customer service. I wouldn’t buy a car from them if they were giving them away.

If i could give this dealership no stars that is where it

If i could give this dealership no stars that is where it would be. On July 20th I bought a brand new 2024 Tiguan (I highly suggest you get one from a different dealership) Not only were the sales people uneducated with the process but they then slipped different paperwork in and tried to talk their way around it. I have been trying since July 22nd to get this corrected with NO LUCK. First in finance Donny took over because Leo didn't process it right. Donny did NOT fix it and although the paperwork at the dealership is correct my loan amount is still 8K higher than it should be. I then spoke with Billy the sales manager and he assured me Donny fixed it. NOT DONE and oh.. Donny and Leo no longer work at this dealership. I have engaged the BBB, Volkswagen Corp as of yesterday and if this is not resolved by the time I have to make my first car note on September 3rd I will be filing a police report for the bait and switch actives after that it will be a court matter. You have completely taken the joy away from me buying a new car. Sales- Jose and Manny fast talking fraudsters Finance- Donny and Leo, Leo slipping in new numbers and Donny not fixing it in over a month. Sales Manager- Billy. Didn’t care to listen told me the bait and switch was my fault. The operator that takes the calls should be given a raise and get a job somewhere else.
