Active Auto Sales

I came to this dealership looking for an affordable car. With really no experience in cars or what I was looking for, I am sure I was far from the ideal buyer. Olaf was very patient though and walked me through a number of different options until we found the perfect fit, a 2007 MINI Cooper. I have had the car for two weeks now and couldn't be happier with my choice. I got the car for a great price, it is in excellent condition, and the whole process went very smoothly. I was a little concerned going to the lot after reading the past negative review, but after seeing the inventory Active Auto Sales has to offer, I can't imagine any of the cars being remotely in the conditioned outlined in the previous review. The fact that the person writing the review couldn't spell "scary" with the built in spell check featured on this website was enough of a clue for me to not take it too seriously. I'm so glad I tried Active Auto Sales. I am hoping I have my car for a number of years and don't have to go back soon, but I will definitely recommend anyone I know looking for a used car to check it out!

we went to look at this car, it was most definitely not as pictured. It is no where near the value listed. Top would not go down, car has been sitting so long one of the tires are low and the brakes are rusting. Car is really dirty, radio is not working because it needs the Volvo code, car had to be jumped just to turn it on. Has obviously been rear-ended as the trunk doesn't line up correctly, bumper is not on correctly and trunk closes badly. It took the sales guy over 10 minutes to come out of his office when we got there. He really didn't know much about the car and kept making excuses that the car has been there for 90 days. Back seat carpet has a hole in it, of which he didn't know about. The dealership itself was scarey. Several camper/motor homes parked on the road and a woman in her PJ's going from camper to dealership. It appears these people live there. Could not believe Cotre Madera would allow such a place in the city limits, this place belongs in Oakland.

The owner Olaf is really genuine guy who has been staright with me in my many years of contact with this car dealer. Charlie has also spent time with me trying to fit my needs in the right vehicle. I have puchased two Saabs and a Honda CRV from them and they were all good cars well priced and reasaonably financed.

This was the most straightforward, hassle-free car-buying experience I have ever had. There's no hard sell, no games-playing, no attempts to slip additional costs into the process or otherwise take advantage of the customer. Quite the opposite. My wife and I were allowed to look at cars without pressure; to drive what we wanted; when we made a choice (a 2009 Saab P-3), Olaf made a good deal on a good car and stuck to it. We'll be back, no question.

I Traded my car for a 1966 Ford Mustang. I could not be happier. Olaf was a pleasure to deal with. And the Mustang I got was better than advertised. Thanks Olaf, and everyone that works there.

Bought a 08 Saab here and had a fantastic buying experience. Olaf knows the cars and offers over the top customer service. As excited as I am to have a great car, I'm am happier to have found a great dealership. We drove here from Sacramento and will do it again the next time we buy a car.

I purchased a Jag from them and the buying experience was very pleasant and smooth. No hassles & no games. The Jag was a good price and they threw in an extended warranty as part of the deal. I received a very fair price for my trade in (much better than other places i contacted). They are trustworthy and pleasant to deal with.

These guys are great. I purchased a Saab from them over a year ago, at a great price. They also fixed a lock and a ripped driver's seat on my OLD Saab at half the price the dealer wanted. My nephew bought a 9-3 in November and had a great first-time car buying experience. They have solid cars and are so easy to work with. LOVE my cars and will go back again!
