Even though it's a small dealership they treat you like your walking into a major place. Family run and you can tell they've been doing it for a while.... Andrew and Dennis were great to deal with. The transaction went smooth, and the car was ready the next day. Even brought it back for a minor fix and it was completed fast, when I requested to have it done, not when they had the time to fit me in. D and D will be my FIRST stop when I'm looking again for a used car. I would absolutely and already have recommended D and D to a friend and will continue to do so in the future.
Not happy. I was a college student looking for my first car. Found a 2007 Toyota Rav4 that I drove and loved. D and D had warned me about an oil consumption... issue with the car stating "some of these older cars just burn through oil." I didn't think much at the time and needed a car ASAP so I bought it. I purchased it in August 2018 and initially it was great. But I started to notice my oil consumption was really high and decided to get it looked at in December 2018 at the shop (Jack Sherman Toyota Dealer) and they told me they did find an oil leak as well as my alignment was completely off and my tires should be rotated. Right then I dropped some major dollars. After I got that all fixed I figured it should be fine for awhile. However I still had oil consumption issues (not quite as bad but definitely was still having to fill my oil frequently) as I had to fill my car with a quart of oil 1-2 times per month. While a bottle of oil is about $6, it adds up and it's a major inconvenience. Come to do some research and there was a massive lawsuit against Toyota that they had faulty engines which burned through oil like crazy. There is no way D and D couldn't have known about this and just didn't tell me. It has become a saftey hazard when my engine nearly seized while driving because I had no oil left. I'm not happy with Toyota either that they weren't upfront about it when I initially took it in, but I'm also not happy with D and D. Either way, my car was okay for a few months. But recently (May 2019) my cars maintenance light and battery light came on. Turned out I needed an oil change, transmission fluid flushed and replaced, new brakes and a new alternator. The oil change I expected (it was about time in terms of mileage maintenance) but new brakes I was shocked. D and D told me many times how they "put brand new brakes and tires on." Tires are tires and have been fine. But Toyota told me when they "put new brakes on" they simply put new pads on and didn't bother to fix the actual mechanics involved with new brakes. Then they said it looked like no one ever bothered to flush and replace the transmission fluid as it was very very dirty. That is partly on the previous owner but also on D and D that they didn't service that. Then my alternator. I'm not sure if I can pin this one on D and D, but it still cost me $800 making my grand total $1,500. That is not including the couple hundred dollars of servicing I put into it in December. I feel deceived on a lot of different levels with D and D. And YES I know I paid way too much for the servicing on the vehicle by taking it to the dealer and next time I will be looking into taking it elsewhere. Nonetheless D and D was not upfront about issues this car had and couldn't do basic servicing to it such as transmission fluid flushes and a proper set of new brakes. Being a college student, I don't have nearly enough for a down payment on another car and I am not interested in having monthly payments to lease a car so I was forced to pay for the repairs. If you MUST buy from D and D, I'd say do thorough research on the vehicle and any recalls / law suits associated with it and also try to take it to a seperate, unbiased mechanic for review before purchase. If D and D refuses to let another mechanic check it over before you purchase it, I think that says enough about them. We did this when we purchased my sisters car from a separate used dealer in the area and were able to get an appointment with Honda Miller the next day for review, so don't let them tell you it'll take too much time and impede their car sales. D and D knew I was a first time car buyer and I needed a car quickly and took advantage of that. Know the car, know the game, know the prices. Don't make the same mistakes as me.
I personally have purchased six vehicles from the dealer and have sent a half a dozen people who also purchased vehicles. They are very very honest hard... working people and have the best price around. I drive 90 miles to purchase from them and haven't had to return to fix anything I have purchased from them.
I bought a car for my daughter from Andrew and it was the best car buying experience of my life. The car was incredibly clean inside and out though it... was the middle of winter. It was just out of lease so it had low mileage. The there was no haggling, no financing tricks, just a great experience. It really is business done the old fashioned way: on a handshake. This is where I’ll buy my next car.
I have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. Each vehicle has been clean and reliable. The customer service was top notch. I would recommend... this dealership to anyone
D and D Car Sales is the place to purchase a vehicle, they have quality cars at reasonable prices. All their cars look brand new and I recommend everyone... to go check out D and D Car Sales before you go anywhere else to buy a car as you will not be disappointed. Dennis and Andrew make you feel like a family friend when you meet them and there is no pressure. When I looked at their cars I wanted to buy all of them as they are all beautiful cars. I love the car that I bought from them as it is perfect for me and it's the best car I have ever had and very reasonable, I am very happy and excited. I will go to D and D for my next vehicle, I promise you that, thank you again Dennis and Andrew for your caring and friendliness, take care
My parents went there and test drove the car and I called to ask some final questions before purchasing. The guy on the other end very impatient and basically... made fun of me in a derisive tone about my questions. I am just shocked by their attitude towards potential buyers. If you do call them, be ready for an argument
I am very happy with my 2015 Rav 4 limited. The car is amazing. Thank you for taking care of me again. The car is in perfect condition. These guys always... Inspect their vehicles and make sure they are top notch before they sell them. I highly recommend this place if you want a quality vehicle at a great price.
Andrew and Dennis were great to work with. So far, so good with the car I purchased with a trade in. They were very easy to work with from start to finish
I have bought multiple cars from this dealership and have been extremely satisfied every time. I would recommend them to anyone I know. Great job
