Lack of GM upgrade knowledge, not once, twice same issue
My wife and I dropped off my 2012 Sierra to have it upgraded to have remote start. I had already had it to you folks once before approximately 1 year ago for the same thing. At that time I was misinformed about the process. I was told the first time that all I needed were new FOBs. I purchased them and found out that there is a bypass module or something of the sort that was required, It was at that time around 200.00. So when my wife wanted to get the complete system installed she contacted you folks and set up an appointment to get it installed. I went with her to drop the truck off. I specifically told the gentleman handling the matter that is was more than just reprogramming the FOBs . Well guess what. My wife and son stopped by to pick up the truck and was told that just reprogramming the FOBs wouldn't work. So, first time 'shame on me for not totally researching the option. I paid. Now, They have charged my wife labor to have nothing done. And she ordered the kit that is now just a hair under 300.00. I actually work for the Matthews boys. So I called them up and said that the kit would be around 225.00. Where is the disconnect. Are these folks getting paid commission. If they are they are abusing the customer. I actually have visited your Toyota dealership in the past month (sales man Bill Gazdik). I was going to purchase either a new Rav4 or Camry by year end. FORGET THAT!!!! Please tell Bill sorry.

Thanks a million to Chris B. in the body shop for his wonderful help with our car accident after hitting a bear. If it wasn't for his expertise the adjuster would have missed a lot of damage. Thanks a lot Chris your an outstanding asset to Gault and General Motors.

I am very happy with the service and helpfulness of the dealership. I looked all over the area for truck prices and found Gault to have the best prices. The great thing is that it is in the same town that I live.

Shady backend dealings
I purchased a 2017 diesel LTZ Silverado, did everything you do with a normal car deal like putting money down, signing the loan contracts and switching insurance over. Two weeks later I get a call from my insurance stating that the dealership (gault) called and requested changes be made to my insurance premiums. Of course I said xxxx no and expected a call from the dealership, nope no call until the following day, which I let go to voicemail. Within 5 minutes I then get a call from my insurance with the salesperson on the line. Requesting to change a deductible because it's too high for GM financing. I said don't change a thing and hung up. Now I'm not a unreasonable person but a. Why wasn't this brought up prior to signing the contracts and b. Why wasn't I notified prior to them calling to try and change my insurance. That to me is completely unacceptable and I will never buy another vehicle from them or recommend someone to. If they try and pull this kind of nonsense what else is going on behind the scenes. Looks like I'll be going to Matthews for service and vehicles from now on.
