Went to Hill Kelly Dodge Chrysler to buy a Jeep Rubicon

Went to Hill Kelly Dodge Chrysler to buy a Jeep Rubicon X. Did all my research and I finally found it went in to go purchase it and everything was going great. The salesman was Eddie. He seemed like he really cared and was helping me and answering all my questions. One of the last big questions is I asked if it had 35 inch tires like it says from the factory, he assured me and my wife that it did weeks later I found out that it didn’t. It only had 32s thinking it was a mistake went back in, hoping that he could give me my 35 inch tires. He now was no longer professional, very rude and called me a liar saying that he never said that now that he had his sale and made his commission he no longer cared about me even though I bought two cars spending $80,000 then when I asked to speak to his manager, his manager didn’t even have the xxxxx to come and talk to me, Eddie was just another crook selling cars and saying whatever I wanted to hear to get his money and the manager allows their salesman to be crooks like this and don’t even come and talk to the customers I would never buy anything from this dealership ever again and especially not from Eddie unless you want to be ripped off.

Ryan - thank you for taking the time to speak with me and our Sales Manager, Rusty, yesterday and allowing us the opportunity to clarify the situation regarding your concern about the tires. As discussed, tire swaps before or after a sale do involve additional costs, and our team is happy to assist with pricing if you're still interested. We’re glad you felt heard and appreciated the follow-up; our goal is always to provide transparent and respectful service, and we value your feedback as part of that commitment. Respectfully, Brandy Pastor - Customer Advocate Manager - 850-696-1497

We purchased a brand-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L from

We purchased a brand-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L from Hill Kelly in Pensacola in December 2021, expecting quality and peace of mind. Instead, we’ve dealt with relentless electronic failures for nearly two years — and a dealership that refuses to take meaningful action. Since 2023, the vehicle has been in the shop eight times, often for weeks or months at a time. Timeline of visits: 11/17/23 – 11/21/23 (Service rotation wait not documented) 06/12/24 – 06/17/24 (Service rotation wait not documented) 07/12/24 – 07/15/24 (Service rotation wait not documented) 07/30/24 – 08/22/24 02/17/25 – 04/01/25 04/08/25 – 04/28/25 05/20/25 – 06/10/25 06/12/25 – Present Despite all these visits, the same dangerous problems return — malfunctioning sensors, random seat movement, incorrect fuel readings, gear shifting failure, and loss of acceleration. One of the most terrifying moments happened on I-10. The vehicle stopped shifting gears, the accelerator failed, and the blinkers and hazard lights completely shut down. The dash flashed every warning imaginable. I was helpless, trying to merge off a busy highway with no power, signals, or control. It was traumatic and dangerous — and yet another reminder this vehicle is completely unreliable. Another time, the car was in the shop for nearly two months to replace a control module. A week after pickup, the same issues came back. We returned it again. Hill Kelly claimed it was fixed. Most Recent Breakdown – June 2025 Just one hour after pickup on 06/10/25, the same sensor failures occurred. After reversing from our driveway, the vehicle wouldn’t even shift into drive. It’s now back at the dealership — again. In frustration, we asked to speak with a service manager. We were told he was in a meeting and unavailable until the next day due to monthly admin work. On 06/12, we tried to speak with any manager. We were told the general manager lives in Alabama, the sales manager was off that day, and the acting manager was doing payroll. No one made the slightest effort to talk to us or show concern. The only person who genuinely cared was our service advisor — he tried to help but ultimately had no authority. Management showed zero urgency or accountability. Sales Department Experience We even tried to trade in the vehicle and asked if Hill Kelly could work with us. We proposed a discount on a new car or a better trade-in value to help with the remaining loan balance. They refused any accommodation. When we went in to discuss the trade-in, we were treated with disrespect. The salesperson ignored our clear statement that we were no longer interested in Jeep and kept pushing us to buy another one. He falsely claimed their promotion would “cover the difference” — it didn’t. The offer wasn’t even competitive with standard pricing online. He was dismissive and refused to negotiate even slightly, despite knowing the vehicle we were trading in had been in and out of their shop for two years. He even told us, “I recommend going to Honda,” and, “I’m retired military — I don’t need this job,” making it clear he had no interest in helping us at all. This entire experience — from inconsistent repairs to apathetic management to rude sales tactics — has been unacceptable. We will never recommend Hill Kelly and strongly urge others to look elsewhere if they expect accountability and quality service

Lies, Lies, Lies, and more Lies smoke and mirrors.

Lies, Lies, Lies, and more Lies smoke and mirrors. Theirs not enough time in my day to tell my whole story and I’m not sure I should seeing that I’m probably going to seek legal action against them. Sales team great but once they got your money the service department and the service department manager Lee are full of lies. Riddle me this when you take your vehicle in for a leaking cab light recall or extended warranty because it has leaked and ruin your headliner and then you get it back three weeks later have it for a month and noticed that the entire floorboard of the truck is soaking wet. Take it back to the dealership and tell him. Hey somethings leaking now because y’all removed the windshield you did all this other stuff and now my truck is full of water But now they don’t fix leaks. I have to take it somewhere else on my dime. The reason I brought it in in the first place was for a leak. Now y’all don’t do leaks somebody explain that one to me?!?!

Great initial FaceTime video and an agreed sale price.

Great initial FaceTime video and an agreed sale price. Unannounced change in sale price, without explanation, suggesting that I call the Texas DMV. Adam from Hill Kelly never followed up on the DMV issue. The sales manager, Jon, neglected to address the issues and only commented of what a great deal I was receiving from them (never disputed). They informed me they weren’t interested in making a deal, subsequently ignored all my messages for three days, and sold the car to someone else.

Zero rating for this service department and its

Zero rating for this service department and its management. During a routine service appointment for my Jeep, the service dept. deployed both airbags. The remedy offered by Harvis was only $1800.00 as remedy. The deployment of the airbags has rendered most of the electrical system non-working. No wipers, no odometer, speedometer, no headlights, and a destroyed dash. This dealership's service department is poor at best. Due to the crash/downfall of new vehicle sales, a dealership's service department is one of the only ways they make money. Please do not use this dealership's service department. I have warned you the best way I know. I shall continue posting on every review board I have access to as well as the BBB. Thank you for your time.

Absolute trash.

Absolute trash. Repeat customer here, Brought 2019 Ram in for Power steering locking up, engine sputtering, and steering wheel grinding three times now with extended warranty. Brought it on appointment 1st time and got “we reset the sensor” without addressing sputtering and grinding. Tobias service mgr identified the sputtering when i picked it up and told me to bring it back in.(i had to have the truck due to a trip). Brought in a second time because steering locked while driving on the interstate Tobias said “have it towed to us and I’ll get it taken care of immediately”. Truck sat on the lot for 4 days because he told nobody and the response from service person was “we had no idea why it was here and there’s no appointment on the books”. 11 days later it was blamed on tie rod ends so they replaced and tried charging me full price like I didn’t have warranty. Still grinding steering wheel and engine sputtering. Again needed vehicle so I took it home. The next week steering locked up again and engine still sputtering and steering wheel grinding. Service director Paul said they’ve done everything they can and says i never even mentioned the power steering the previous two times and they’ve done everything they can, then said to take it somewhere else. Despite multiple attempts to speak to the general manager, all I get is passed off to everyone but the GM. I wouldn’t recommend a single person at that dealership. When I called Sandy Sansing (Brian), they said because of the horrible relationship with Tobias and Paul, they won’t even make contact to work through issues, so I can’t even get the second opinion that Paul recommend. Was given the number to the relationship manager, Brandy Pastor, to give my story to, but she hung up mid-call because Tobias was reading over her shoulder and told her to hang up. Then Tobias told everyone in the dealership that all of my calls go directly to him as directed by the GM who apparently has zero control. Don’t fall for the lie that they care, or that this relationship manager type person does anything for you, it’s a sham. She literally hung up while I was telling her my story. Come to find out the GM Miles Bentley was aware the whole time but chose not to address anything until all of this fighting to charge me for everything took place. After months of fighting the GM finally called acting fed up and said to bring the truck in and they’d take care of it and pay for it like they should all along. When I reached out to Ram customer care, the service manager stated to them that the OWNER has insisted not to work on my vehicle going forward. The absolute worst leadership and after 5 trucks, I will not buy another. Think about this when you buy your next vehicle.
