Trading in for new vehicle
Service is always top notch here and if i ever have a question they always have an answer. Granted my appointment was taken later than expected the whole process of trading a car in was the easiest experience i ever had and i was done with my process within at-least 30 minutes.

Great Experience
I've been looking for a new (to me) car and after a day of looking around in Kingston I was discouraged. I had to go to Middletown so decided to check out the Subaru dealership there. We had a great experience with Alex Brown. He was very helpful and showed us vehicles at different price points to show me my options. Alex worked with the whole team (Jake Booth, Dan Rosenblum and the manager Tony) really made an effort to get me into a car at the price I wanted and they succeeded! I'm very happy with my car and the service Johnston's Subaru provided me with. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Subaru in the area. Thanks guys!

Purchased a new Impreza

Service department
My experiences here have left a lot to be desired. The parking lot is a nightmare to navigate and on multiple occasions, sales staff has ignored us until we went and asked for someone at the counter. My car was dropped off Friday for recall repairs and to have a headlight replaced. I was given a new Ascent to drive. The Ascent was very nice and after having for a few days, I was considering purchasing one in the spring. It would be my third Subaru. My husband is there picking up my car and I just spoke to him on the phone. The tumbler was part of the recall and when the car was brought out for him to leave, there were wires hanging out around it and under the dash and the headlight was still not working. They had to take it back in the garage to put the wires back where they belong and to replace the headlight, while he sits in the waiting room. Needless to say, if I do purchase an Ascent in the spring, I will be going to Mid Hudson or Colonial.

Great Experience - Love My Certified Pre-Owned
I was able to buy a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 BRZ two weeks ago. I had been searching for this car for months and finally found one in great condition, with decent mileage and inside by budget. Tim R. was my salesman and he was very helpful in every step of the way. His manager, Michelle H,. was wonderful and was able to come up with a deal that we both felt was a fair shake regarding the sale price and the value of my trade-in. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking for a quality Subaru buying experience.

2018 Subarau Impreza Owner
Excellent customer service. Excellent repair department. One problem - a new car includes the first 5 free express services - oil change, tire rotation, full checkup etc. If you bring the car in and you have any issue (simple) not covered in the basic service you have to come back for another appointment. Since distance to the dealer is a problem - this could be corrected by letting you get in the regular line if it's a quick fix.

Problem fixed!
Problem removing ignition key from 1917 Outback. Dealer where car was purchased did not fix it as they could not make it happen over a full day of trying. Problem continued intermittently, so we went to another Subaru dealer which identified the problem and fixed it. Very pleased.
