Car broke down after their service dept worked on it

I bought a 2004 Honda Accord from O’Daniel. I am a college student that needed a car to get back to school in Florida. Since this is over a 1000 mile drive, I wanted to take the vehicle in for a used car inspection before buying it. The manager did not allow me to take it in because he assured me their service department had made the car ready to make a trip of that length. Less than a week after buying the car, the check engine light came on (Most dealerships won’t sell a car that has a problem big enough to set the check engine light on). I brought it into their service department and they said there was a big issue with the catalytic converter. They “fixed” it and assured that NOW it was a dependable vehicle. So I set off on my trip to Orlando and the car completely broke down and died in Missouri. I had to restart it every mile until I got to a mechanic shop. The mechanic in charge told me to call O’Daniel so he could talk to them about their work on the car since he said he’d never seen anything like that on a Honda with such low mileage (83k). When I called they had me on hold for 20 minutes then sent me to voicemail and never called back. This is a dealership that shows no interest in taking care of their customers, and because of them I was stranded on my way to school. Do not recommend.

New Vehicle Purchase/O’Daniel Honda

Had the best experience purchasing a new vehicle I have ever had. Peter Homecillo was helpful, respectful and so knowledgeable without being overbearing like so many in this field. He was straightforward with his presentation on the $$. I had done a lot of research on costing, he was there from the beginning. I have never had a sale go so smoothly, so fair. Thank you Peter for making it a great experience!

First Honda

We just bought our first Honda. We typically take a month or so to get a new vehicle. We test drove several other SUV's not only once but twice. Mark Johnson was our salesman and was outstanding. He did a great job of explaining the features and answered ALL of our questions even when we called back several times with many,many questions. He made the difference. We love our Honda CRV -EX!

Shopping experience

My husband and I had a great experience buying our first Honda. We typically take a month or so to research,test drive several vehicles to compare. Mark Johnson was very,very good. He explained all the features very well and was not your standard pushy car salesman. We live outside of OMAHA so the next week after many,many phone calls,Mark was patient and took the time to call us back and answer every question we had. HE IS OUTSTANDING IN OUR BOOK! He made the difference.

Great car and great service

Our salesman Mark was very professional yet personable-he got things done promptly for us with no hassles. He is an asset to your company! Our experience with the finance person Jake to Joe who helped us out with getting things added to the vehicle was hassle free. We love our brand new Honda Civic and highly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a good, fair deal and buying experience.

Great Experience at O'Daniel

Ray Salinas was super helpful from when my wife first arrived to look at minivans, to when he handed her the fob after the 30 minute demonstration of the features. And Chance was super helpful in getting in and out of the financing office. Great deal all the way around. Thank you.

Lied 2

I recently purchased a new Honda from O'Daniel Honda in Omaha. Love the car; hate the dealership. I chose them, believing that I would be dealing with an honest business. Unfortunately, I was wrong. They are at best incompetent -- at worst dishonest. I was told a lie that could cost me a lot of time and money. Very disappointed.

Honda Buyer, Beware!

Good Experience

I just purchased a new car here and the experience was very good. I have purchased several cars over the years and returned to O’Daniel because of previous experiences here. They treat me with respect and answer all my questions. They do not pressure me. I like dealing with O’Daniel Honda.
