Avoid this service department. Kamron Mikuta tried to charge me $451 to replace a tire that did not need replacing. Brand new 2026 Honda Prologue, under 700 miles. Picked up a screw in the rear tire. The Prologue is an EV with no spare, so we used Honda roadside assistance to tow it to Community Honda. Kamron told me three things, all false. The tire could not be patched, replacement would cost $451, and Community Honda does not accept the tire warranty Honda sold me with the car. He refused to escalate to a manager. I called the warranty provider (Protective) directly. They confirmed Community Honda is one of their dealer customers, sells their products, and should be honoring the plan. When I told Kamron and asked why Honda would sell a warranty no Honda dealer accepts, his sarcastic response was, “I don’t know. To sell you something.” I asked for the service manager to call me. Never happened. When I came to pick up the car, Kamron handed me the keys, pointed at the back lot, and said, “I don’t know how to tell you how to get to the vehicle. The tow truck driver dropped it back there somewhere and we aren’t moving it because of the screw. If you want to, that’s on you.” So I wandered the lot hunting for my own brand new car. I drove it to Discount Tire in Homer Glen out of frustration. The tech walked out, took one look, and showed me the screw had not penetrated deep enough to cause a leak. He pulled it, tested the tire, and it was fine. He also confirmed Prologue tires can be patched. Wrong about the repair, wrong about the warranty, openly sarcastic about Honda’s own products, dumped a brand new car in the back lot and told me to go find it, and a service manager who could not be bothered to follow up. Easily one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Take your business anywhere else.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Honda of Orland Park, thanks entirely to our salesperson, Malik. After a few weeks of research, we narrowed our search down to a Honda. Walking into the dealership on a weekend, I’ll admit, was a bit overwhelming - there were many representatives ready to greet us, and at first I wasn’t quite sure how to navigate the experience. Malik immediately changed that. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, welcomed, and at ease. What truly stood out was Malik’s patience and thoughtfulness. As someone who had no idea what information was helpful to communicate when buying a car, I really appreciated how he asked insightful, intentional questions that helped clarify what actually mattered to us. He took the time to truly understand our priorities and guided us toward the perfect car. One moment that made a big impression on me was Malik’s maturity and emotional intelligence. Sensing that I was feeling overwhelmed, he actually reintroduced himself once we moved into a quieter setting, almost as a “reset.” That small but thoughtful gesture made a huge difference and immediately helped me feel more relaxed and confident moving forward. Malik is incredibly knowledgeable, communicates with respect and clarity, and is refreshingly direct in a way that builds trust. On top of that, he worked with us to create a great deal on our car. The entire process felt smooth, supportive, and genuinely positive. We are incredibly happy with our experience. Malik is personable, easy to work with, and truly exceptional at what he does. When we’re ready for our next car, we will absolutely be returning to Honda of Orland Park—and we will be asking for Malik without hesitation.

Brought my 2019 Honda passport in for the rear camera cable recall. they said they replaced the cable. However, when I was backing out of Costco, my next stop after Honda, the camera is not working. I called community Honda in Orland Park and they said they don’t check to see if the camera is working after they replace the cable. This seems like a total lack of pride in their work. They told me I can bring the car in and pay a $200 diagnostic fee. Wife is looking to replace her Acura RDX and we were looking at the Honda CRV. Needless to say we will not be doing business with community Honda due to this total, lack of pride in workmanship. Doesn’t anyone take pride in their work anymore? When I first arrived, I was having a conversation with the service attendant, and he was not paying attention. he was more distracted due to a family phone call and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions.

Walked in and was greeted by Melissa S. she asked what I was looking for and she delivered. She made the process easy and quick. She has also reached out to me to see if everything was ok and if I needed anything just to let her know and she would be happy to help which I appreciate.
