Yesterday, October 8th, 2025, I drove to Lexus of Tampa
Yesterday, October 8th, 2025, I drove to Lexus of Tampa Bay, in Tampa, FL.. I was in the market for an SUV, something with a hybrid powertrain and AWD. I met up with Jeanette and Ray, my sales associates. They had presented three 2026 Lexus NX350h(s) they felt fit the criteria I had stated for my needs. They suggested these excellent SUVs. I immediately found the one I wanted and I test drove it. We arrived at an extremely fair dollar amount, including my trade-in. The negotiation didn't take longer than 20 minutes, with both the dealer sales manager and I being completely satisfied. This was actually a relaxing day for me. Great sales associates, Jeanette and Ray and also a fantastic sales manager. This is the second new Lexus I have purchased from this dealership in Tampa, Florida. Good Job you guys! You've made me happy!

Lexus of Tampa Bay has enjoyed our business for many many years with over fifteen Lexus vehicles past thirty years. disappointed that cost of labor and parts has reached point where overall VALUE of Lexus vehicles is becoming issue.

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation
I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 1pm today. I waited in the Service lane, after being checked in, for over 25 minutes. The Service writer, Mike then strolls out and tells me sorry for the delay, he didn't know I was there. When I told him that's a long wait with no write-up, he just laughed it off. Then he proceeds to tell me, my wait time is 1-1/2 to 2 hours, because I don't have an appointment. When I explain I DID have an appointment at 1pm, he asked for my phone number, couldn't find me, and says no appointment shows - except for one thing - when I arrived, they found my appointment with no problem. He couldn't expain why...I've already been there for almost 30 minutes now, and says I'm realistically looking at close to 2 hours (also without a car wash). That's 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This whole experience tells me one thing - they are oveerbooking work and don't care about their customers. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority at this dealership and I won't be back. This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience with them, concerning wait time and pricing for my service. I'll find someone else.

I was given this same number, to reach out to the General Manager. I called him 2 days ago (Sept 30th), left him my phone number via his voicemail, as he was gone for the day. As of now (Oct 2nd), 4:30pm, I haven’t received a call back… It will be interesting if I get that callback, and see if anyone is really interesting in hearing more about this issue.
