Lakeland Toyota

This afternoon I arrived at Lakeland Toyota to search out a 2025 Camry XSE, without the optional glass roof. I was greeted by a nice salesperson named Rob. I told him the color(s) choices I would like. Silver or charcoal, black or red interior. After searching the lot, then looking on the computer, he couldn't locate an XSE without a glass sun roof. A sales manager came to our table, attempting to tell me the XLE Camry was the same as the XSE. I told him he was incorrect. The XLE has a different interior and a different suspension. He said it was merely an appearance package, which of course it was not. He began arguing with me about it. I told him to bet me $50 if I was wrong. He wouldn't bet me, but said, I think I've more Camrys than you have. I told him he was wrong. I've owned seven Camrys, and the SE and XSE models have a stiffer suspension than the XLE. It was then I realized the type of dealership Lakeland Toyota is. The sales-people, including the management know very little about the products they are selling. I stood up, thanked Rob for his help, and walked out of the Lakeland Toyota dealership. I recommend steering far from this dealership. Perhaps Miracle Toyota in Winter Haven, FL is a better dealership, or Courtesy Toyota in Brandon, FL. This dealership is not honest!

I am new in Lakeland. This was my first time visit to this dealership to service my 2019 RAV4. Lawrence Rael was my service adviser. He was very professional. Everything was done correctly. Got good advice from Lawrence. Total cost for my service including new battery, new rear brake pads and turning rotors, oil change, and tire rotation came to a total much less than I expected. My wife paid a Firestone Dealer a sum greater than all my service items just for replacing the pads and rotors on the rear brakes of her Subaru a couple of years ago. I will return to Lakeland Toyota for all my service needs.

Absolute worst car shopping experience of my life, salesperson "Shelby" was horrific. She was so rude and condescending for no reason. I will never buy a car from this dealership. I bought a car the next day from a different dealership, where I was treated with respect and the experience was a pleaure.

Fast and courteous, no add on selling. Will return for service of my vehicle again.

They went over and above my expectations. Had a slight problem with the vehicle but that was taken care of.

My service manager was Daniel Arvizu he was very nice and knowledgeable about the problem with my car I will ask for him again when I return, thanks he really cared
