This is one of those deals there needs to be a no star review… I went to this dealership because I needed a new box truck for my business. When I went there I also decided to trade my personal truck in for a new GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. That is where the nightmare begins. Day two of truck ownership. I was traveling 65 on the freeway when a very loud boom happened under the vehicle. I was going to pull over but everything seemed to work fine… until it didn’t. Needless to say the vehicle was towed and eventually I received a hummer ev as a rental with less than 40% battery. I spent the next two days trying to balancecharging and work so I could actually get around. It’s bad enough to get an ev as a rental whe you have no way to charge at home, but40% battery?? Eventually they talked me into keeping the truck by adding a 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty on it. Fast forward… I start receiving messages that my last truck is now severely past due. I call my lender and they explain no check has been received. They tell me to call the new dealer of which I do. Not a single live person would answer the phone so I bounce to the finance managers voicemail, sales manager and the salesman all of which decide not to return my call for 3 days! So I get on with my past lender and they ask to 3 way with the dealer. I call again and demand a live person from the operator. She gets me the finance managers voicemail who I have already left messages for. He answers I calmly state why is going on then ask some questions. He accuses me of AMBUSHING him with the old lender on the call. He was rude as xxxx and spoke over both of us the entire time. Then when the old lender gave the payoff amount he was blown away as it is higher. I explained that when payments are late fees rack up and he acted like that would never happen. This finance manager is a finance buffoon. Now my credit is severely negatively affected and no one has fixed the problem yet. These guys are awful. I would give anything for a Time Machine to go get my old truck back. By the way Joel, my salesman is a go

Salesman went out of his way to accommodate us, even coming to house to pick up check. Finance department is lacking. Needs more help. Waited lengthy period of time to go through warranty options.

Benjamin our sales rep was very attentive to what/ why we needed the truck for and he explained the 4 options available. We test drove it so we can get a feel for a 2500. He was involved in the buying process from start to finish. A few days later we returned because of a windshield water leak (factory defect) and again Benjamin was involved in the whole repair process including the loaner. When you go shopping at Sunset Chevy ask for Benji.

Sunset Chevrolet set the bar across the board for a perfect customer experience. From the moment I reached out with an inquiry for a new truck, Devin Mease was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. It could not have been more seamless and made the process very pleasant. The manager Webb Jackson and my sales associate Devin Mease, their attention to detail and my satisfaction was unparalleled - going above and beyond in every aspect. This is my third truck I have purchased there and it certainly will not be my last. I highly recommend to anyone to shop there for your next vehicle...but make sure you ask for Devin. 10/10

The Associates I worked with at Sunset GMC Chevy far exceeded my expectations. My Sales Associate spent quite a bit of time assisting me with setting up and reviewing how to access all the features. The Finance Rep was able to easily answer any questions. I shopped throughout the SE for my new vehicle and am very happy to have purchased locally with Sunset.
