As always, the team at Bill Snethkamp goes above and beyond. During Corvid-19 all precautions was taken from (restroom) hand washing available, 6-8 distance enforced as well as facility was clean. Feeling safe and anxiety free was made truly by staff. The team always greet you no matter who’s customer you are. In this day and time the team at Bill Snethkamp rock!!!!!!!!

Correcting a bad review

I inadvertently left a poor review for the wrong dealership. I apologize. They both were named Snethkamp, but I didn't realize I was leaving it for the Highland Park location.

Horrible.

On March 13, 2020 I purchased a vehicle from Bill Snethkamp, Highland Park. I went to the dealership with specifics regarding my budget and what I was looking for in a car. The salesman, Eddie, met me outside and offered to help. He was nice enough, a bit too chatty but bearable, we went for a test drive, afterwards I wanted to think about things. I understand pressure for “the sale” but I was putting a lot of money down on the car and wanted to be sure of my major investment. He had me fill out some paperwork and without asking me if he could he took the paper and ran my credit report. I got very nervous about going to other dealerships now as he had run my credit I was worried about impacting my score if I ultimately chose a different dealership so I stayed with Bill Snethkamp. Slightly frustrated I returned the next day just wanting to purchase the car for a fair price and be on my way. Eddie would not stop talking for the hours he had me waiting. We went for a couple more test drives and he said that there was one in my budget parameters that fit most of my wants. Fantastic! It even came with a 150,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I felt like I had finally found the car I wanted. Starting the purchase process Eddie did not leave me alone often, there was endless one-sided talking so I could barely think. I excused myself to the bathroom just to be alone. I don’t know why he believed it to be appropriate discussing some topics in the workplace but he didn’t seem to care so long as his mouth was moving. He rushed through the process of signing things, no detailed explanations, just prattling on and on about nonsense while glossing over the paperwork. I was so happy to leave. I was happy to have a car. Finally, it was done. Four weeks later, I had my car stolen. As I have gone through the process with my insurance and have had to have others look at the paperwork they are shocked with the contract. This particular paper I was given by the dealership (post theft) was not the contract but did show my car valuation $15,000 higher than what I had asked to spend. More than the car is worth. More than insurance is going to pay me. I have lost thousands of dollars and this dealership has offered nothing more than lip service. I have canceled the warranty but all in all I’m getting back a fraction of what I put into the car because a salesman wanted to make his commission no matter the cost. After contacting the sales manager I was treated with little regard, dismissed and spoken to like a child and then brushed off to the finance department. We spoke with Chris, I believe, and he was the only person who tried to be helpful and resourceful. I truly appreciated his efforts. I will get a new car but it will not be from Bill Snethkamp ever again.

I've used three different dealerships in the last 10 years and this is by far the best one yet. The service is great, the sales team is great and what can I say, I love Chrysler vehicles.
