I sent this email to Suncoast 8 days ago. I must admit, I did have an expectation I would get a response; however, to my surprise...nothing. However, with a current DealerRater rating of only 2.7, I'm no longer surprised. Read my review for yourself and make the call on whether or not the dealership is worthy of your business. Good morning Lenny and Happy Friday, Once again, thank you very much for the level of customer service you extended to me during my recent visit. In my dealings with a number of Jeep dealerships in the Tampa/Clearwater/xx Pete area, you are by far, hands down, the best I've come across! You should be commended and publicly recognized for your professionalism, attentiveness and genuine friendly demeanor. Thank you again. Unfortunately, your teammates in the shop let you down. Due to the constant rain, it's been a few weeks since I've washed my Jeep. Typically it's a weekly affair for me. I suppose all my years in the Army taught me a few valuable lessons on vehicle maintenance. Those same lessons I speak of taught me to check, confirm and verify; particularly when it comes to wheel rotations. In this case, I personally failed to do a walk-around of my Jeep after your technicians performed the rotation. If I had, I would have immediately noticed the two missing lug nuts on the front passenger side wheel as I did this morning when I began washing my Jeep. However, in this day and age of quality service performance and evaluation, and maybe a bit of confidence in Suncoast CJD, I didn't feel the need to perform that check. Let's face it, of all the maintenance activities a quality Jeep dealership could perform, one would think the tire rotation would be one of the easier tasks to perform, check, confirm and verify; right? One may argue, they could have come off while driving. If this were the case, then it appears adherence to standard-of-care isn't of importance to Suncoast CJD. I'd like to believe this isn't the case at all. I'd like to believe as part of the wheel rotation tasks, a technician would surely tighten, and possibly torque, each wheel lug nut before moving onto the next wheel, let alone, releasing a vehicle as job complete. That leaves only one other option, the technician forgot to screw the two lug nuts on. Which brings into question the quality control processes and procedures of the shop. Is it check, confirm and verify, or to put in military terms...fire and forget? Obviously, in either case, both left me in extremely dangerous driving condition. The amount of torque my 392 puts out at the wheel increases the possibility of shearing off one, if not all, the remaining three lugnuts while driving; thus placing myself, my passenger(s) and other drivers in harms way due to two missing lug nuts. I've included who I believe to be the senior leadership of Suncoast CJD on this email for one specific purpose and it's not to fault you. You absolutely performed your job to the "T"!!! My hope is they'll look at this as a valuable, non-injury, non-fatal occurrence and immediately implement processes and procedures to ensure it never happens again. Fortunately, I do have two spare lug nuts in my garage. Unfortunately, this one occurrence has given me more than enough reason to take my future business to one of your competitors in the area. One I've had the same service done without issue. The confidence I'll gain in a job done right, I'll lose some in the level of customer service you provided. Thank you again Lenny and keep doing what you're doing! p.s. The new layout of the dealership looks amazing, but as it's said, looks can be deceiving...especially when it comes to lug nuts. ;-)

I have purchased over 15 cars from various dealers. This dealership is the worst. Suncoast was $8,257 more than their competition. About a month later I saw a man driving the blue Rubicon they tried to sell me. LOL. Sales manager was right, someone bought it. LOL Bless his heart. Poor guy got hosed out of a BUNCH of money. Also, the Suncoast service department doesn't want to do warranty work on vehicles not purchased from Suncoast. I had a small manufacturer defect found with less than 2500 miles and a month old vehicle. They denied it and told me to take it back where I bought it from. It was a $97 part. After a brief discussion, they said they would do it for $575. Not under bumper to bumper. I was told to call Chrsler if I didn't like it. I've given them many chances. Complete sham of a business. Stay away and save a ton of money.

We purchased a used 2019 jeep wrangler from Suncoast and they provided a 2 month 2000 mile warranty that was worthless. When we drove it home we experienced the death wabble on the highway twice and it failed virginia state inspection for rusted brakes. It also had a jeep recall unfixed on it. Suncoast did not prep the car well or inspect it at all. It cost us an additional $1130 to repair. So buyers beware of used cars at this dealer...

Suncoast Chrysler, Ram on Park Blvd in Seminole Florida. Horrible dealership! I was lied to by the finance guy, he told me we have a great warranty, 7yrs, 100K miles, well that lasted 2 years, and 27K miles. If he would have told me it started in 2018, years before I bought it, obviously if he would have said that no one in their right mind would of paid $3,100.00 for 2 years! That is deceitful, and as far as I’m concerned about right lie! I’m sure in the paperwork it said from the service date (when it was new, and years before I purchased it, now don’t you think that should be disclosed, I do, sorry I don’t call it a service date, and he should have told me it ends now!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS, DISHONEST AND UNCARING PEOPLE!! Was going to buy a new dodge ram from here and after being rushed into a deal i didn't know much about i provisionally signed some documents and made a 500$ deposit. After some thought and financial reasoning i pulled out of the deal and was met with very poor treatment by the management who without any attempt to help me with my situation made sure to make it known that i was not getting my deposit back, even though i made no binding deal. When i spoke to a manager he refused to provide me with the documents i had signed and would not return any further of my calls when i attempted to get my deposit back, even with knowing my financial situation and being a first responder they told me and my father that they dont care because the dealership lost out on money. Just so everyone knows who this dealership cares about. it is themselves and not the consumer!!

I have a 2017 Ram Big Horn 3500 6.7 diesel dually. I kept having trouble with the engine light coming on. The code indicated there was a problem with the transmission. I took the truck here to Suncoast and the technician, Jason Dale quickly determine the cause of the problem, and fix the transmission. I'm very happy with the dealership and with jason. He also gave me tips about prolonging the life of my transmission that I really appreciated.

Buyer Beware Buying Any Preowned Car From Suncoast CJD!!! Car was purchased in May and no one ever called at a 1 month interval or a 5 month interval to see how the car was running so the rebuttal to this review is flat out false fake news ! The car was consuming 1 quart of oil per week since purchasing it in May. Yes I could of kept the Chrysler extended warranty for the Hyundai Sonata but I would never ever let Suncoast service technicians near the car especially for major engine work seeing all the bad reviews on the Google reviews for Chrysler and Dodge and RAM vehicles no way !! Hyundai doesn’t recognize or better word for honor the inept extended warranty they sold me for this Sonata. The finance department is very greedy only looking to get commissions out of warranties they are selling that are worthless!! I purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Suncoast on May 17th of this year. The car was said to be a one owner car with 103,000 miles on it and looked cared for and my girlfriend and I test drove it and it was ok the price was right to $10,999.00. Put $1500 as a down payment got tricked into an extended warranty for $3360 that I have since requested a refund back on July 9th and to date extended warranty has still not been refunded and accredited to my loan balance. Going on 2 months!! The extended warranty was worthless it was only valid for Chrysler and Dodge vehicles only and Hyundai refuses to honor any warranty outside their own warranty when the car has over $100,000 miles on it. End of story On Thursday August 22d the Sonata experienced catastrophic engine failure with the rod bearing extension going bad on the vehicle. The worst experience ever Pay attention to the intro Buyer Be Aware
