Update Review made on 5.29.19

This is to update a review I made on 5.29.19. They reimbursed the cost of the bad battery that came with the car I purchased from them. Thank you.

We purchased a used 2015 Suburban LTZ. When I showed up to test drive it, the battery was dead. They jumped it and tested the battery and assured me it was good. They also told me to notify them if there were any issues. The following morning it did crank up, but there was a battery warning, which I called to notify. I was told if it continued, to bring it in and they would replace the battery. Well it did the following morning it was completely dead had to call AAA to jump. It also had to be jumped twice the following day and the morning I took it back to the dealership. So I didn't think it was a big deal even though they were 60 miles away from my home, but then when they confirmed the battery needed to be changed, they would not cover it. So even though it would not start before I bought it, and I notified them of the issue, and was told they would replace it, I was charged for it b/c it was sold "as is". So lesson learned do not believe anything a dealership tells you. The car should have never been sold with a known bad battery. Such a liability.

We have bought 3 new Equinoxes at this dealership. We have paint issues on the 2018 we bought. I believe the paint bubbled and broke away. I took it in for service with about 200 miles remaining on the bumper to bumper warranty and had the service writer and service manager look at it and both said it had been damaged by a rock or something. They took a picture and said they sent it to GM. I don't believe you can tell very much with a cell phone picture. I got a call and was told GM denied my claim. I was told by a service writer from an other dealership, that was out of state, they would have taken care of it just keep me a happy customer, after buying 3 new vehicles. When and if I trade for another new GM vehicle it will be another dealership.

Low Pressure Easy Purchase

Just traded in my got out of my 2004 Colorado and into a new 2019 Equinox. Wasn't really thinking about doing it when I got there, Mitch, Carol and Albert were all great. Helped me make the move, great experience, very professional group of people.

I cannot Thank Mr. Castriota, Alex, Ryan and Larry enough for their relentless efforts to bless me with a brand new vehicle. The professionalism, kindness and passion of everyone I met made me feel like I was family! I am grateful and overjoyed with my new car! ☝️

Exceptional Experience

I would never shop with another Florida dealer again. Our sales rep (David) worked extremely hard and diligently to beat my other two offers. They made sure I loved my car at the same time as treating me as if they cared about my purchasing experience.

Inferior

We have explained to service tech about our problem we were haveing on more than one occasion and they say they can't find it. Get the vehicle back and still doing the same thing. I feel you all want us there several times to charge for other things. Keep having us return. I live 45 to 1 hour away. Very dissatisfied I'm taking my service needs elsewhere

Hidden costs/ Poor Service

Beware hidden costs and add ons during purchase. They are notorious for adding fabric protector/ paint protector packages for an additional $1000. They additionally will charge $800 in dealers fees and another $600 in documentation fees. These additions consistently negate any incentives offered by Chevrolet. Blanche Bosley is good at getting you to come in but never follows through and misrepresents incentives. Their service department has taken a quick downturn in quality. The last few times I have had my car serviced, it has come back with filthy hand prints, no valve caps, and it sat on the lift for an hour and a half with my flashers on while the technician sat there on his phone eating lunch. Stay away! The only saving grace in service is Cathy Davidson. She is truly customer friendly and competent. Unfortunately, she doesnt service your vehicle.
