This seller has been on Cars.com since December 2023.
In January of 1934 Wiley Mossy Sr. opened Mossy Motors on Rampart Street in New Orleans. Mossy was only the third car dealer to open in the city and the first Oldsmobile dealer in the entire State of Louisiana.

Almost immediately Mossy Motors gained a reputation of offering outstanding customer service fair prices and quality products. And after 75 years the Mossy name still represents these qualities.

The staff in service are very professional. Zack goes out of his way anytime I am there. Great staff. But I think they know my dogs name more then mine. Inside joke with them. Great Dane name of Hugo

Always prompt. Service advisors are helpful and friendly. Mossy is also close to where I live! Other dealerships are a half hour drive away.

After researching Cadillac XT5s across Louisiana, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, and Houston, I ultimately purchased a 2024 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury from Mossy Motors, and overall I’m very happy with the experience and my purchase. The biggest reason the deal came together was because of Melaynie Williams and Tim in Finance. Melaynie was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and consistently respectful throughout the process. I came in as a very informed buyer, having already researched pricing, financing through Navy Federal, warranty coverage, and comparable inventory across multiple markets. She took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, never made me feel rushed, and worked hard to help me find a vehicle and out-the-door price that fit my budget. Tim in Finance was also excellent to work with. He was professional, transparent, and made the financing and paperwork process smooth and easy to understand. I will say my initial interaction with another salesperson, Lamoine Ward, was much less positive. Lamoine outright disputed my pre-approved loan and the process outlined by my bank. With our very short interaction, I experienced what felt like unnecessary high-pressure sales tactics, and some statements regarding pricing, inventory, and the buying process conflicted with information I had already independently researched online. That initially made me hesitant about continuing with the dealership. Fortunately, Melaynie and Tim completely changed the tone of the experience and ultimately earned my business through professionalism, patience, and straightforward communication. In the end, I drove away in a beautiful 2024 Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury at an out-the-door price that worked for me, and I appreciate the team members who treated me with respect as a prepared and knowledgeable customer.
