Service and window repair.

I don?t think I can talk my wife into another Chevy. She had to pay for a driver window actuator that was just barely out of warranty. It?s the 6th window actuator on 3 different GM products we?ve had to replace. I would say they have an engineering or quality issue.

Owner of 2017 Taho

My car started at home just fine, went to Walmart and came out and would not start. This was Saturday at noon I called Jason at Gound Chevrolet he came in minutes. The quick start charger would not work so he went in Walmart bought jumper cables got me started and we made it to the shop and a new battery was installed minutes and I was on my way home. With that kind of service I would not think of doing business with anyone else. Great to do business at home ?

Avoid body shop

Selected body shop for insurance claim. Picked up car two weeks later and there was a wide space where bumper was reconnected, there was a gap that made my hood appear to be higher than the rest of the car, and I drove around for two weeks before I realized that they didn’t even put my front license plate back on. Finally washed the car six weeks later and realized that a cover close to my windshield wipers was not replaced. Contacted body shop and was told that I would have to purchase the piece from the parts dept for them to repair. Would not recommend. Not too many options in Nacogdoches but I hear they do great work when they personally know you.

Charges for unecessary work

We took our vehicle in because it was running roughly. They said it was only running on 5 of 6 cylinders, it was ok to drive home, and to bring it back in the morning. The said it would cost $750 to repair. I blindly done business with them for over 30 years. We asked a friend of ours in the car business to take a look at what they where going to do. He said a lot of it didn't make sense and he would take a quick look at it. A long story short, it took him about an hour total, only having to replace a coil pack, $47.
