We wouldn't recommend this dealership for service or

We wouldn't recommend this dealership for service or sales. Our experience was primarily in service however we had a terrible experience when speaking with two seperate sales managers after asking for the owner. Both managers said they would ask the owner to call us - to this day we never received a call. This dealership does not keep their word on work performed and price quoted. Be prepared for several phone calls stating they found something else wrong and there will be an additional. They will not be honest in regards to what they tell you on the phone and what they put on the invoice. They fraudulently recorded our mileage incorrectly on the invoice so our warranty expires sooner. They lied about what happened to our vehicle on our invoice versus what was told to us via phone conversation. They lied about test driving our vehicle. We have reason to believe they destroyed our engine. Buyer beware.

How would you feel?

How would you feel if your car was going through tires because it needs an alignment extremely bad? So you go online make an appt for 8am for an alignment and whiles it's there might as well get oil change and tires rotated, along with check some shifting concerns your having in your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4×4, oh and you completed the area for (will need a ride both ways). Now 9 hours later you haven't heard from them. So you call them, because they close in an hour. You find out its $180 and all they did was an oil change, rotated tires (hey captain obvious I didn't need to make an appt for that) and used an OBD scanner to look for faults. Oh and you have to find a ride there before they close in an hour if you want your car back for the weekend (their driver goes home at 4:30 PM). So you get an Uber (first time) paid $25 for the ride to get your Jeep. You go out of town Friday night and while driving Saturday morning you have a flat tire alarm. You take the jeep to Walmart to get the tire repaired you spend an hour and a half just to realize that they can't get your wheel off because they don't have the lug nut key because the Jeep dealership never put it back after they used it on Friday. Now its Monday still in TN and they will not answer the phone or call me back so you use Fix-A-Flat fill up the tire and cross your fingers and head back to South Carolina because you have to go to work Monday night at 10:00 p.m. you work 3rd Shift.

Salesperson was very disinterested

A shout of “you good”? Started this experience and then I said what truck I was here to see which was met with “anything else you interested in or just this one”. When I said no, he said I’ll get the key. After a short test drive because truck broke down in the first 5 seconds, we pulled back in and the salesperson said well I gotta take this truck to service now (curious why it was not thru service before it went in the lot) and I advised I would be in the lot looking around. After seeing him talking to other customers (while I stood there) I left and will buy a truck in Greenville. The salespeople here seem to enjoy riding around together on golf carts and talking to each other than helping people since they did that a lot. For sure a high commission place as the salespeople try to see quickly if they think they might be able to make money off you and devote their time accordingly. In this case, they could have but guessed wrong. Probably a good place if the salespeople think you will buy in the next 10mins, but not a good place if you wanted attention for more than 20 mins, because they could be missing out on another sale you know.

Girls, I recommend if you are looking for the best

Girls, I recommend if you are looking for the best experience in buying new car look no further than Lake Keowee Chrysler Dodge Jeep and request Paul Zaagman as your Salesperson. Paul was truly very easy to work with. He was available to answer any of my questions and made me feel totally comfortable in the buying process. I was in and out of the dealership in about 1hr. Paul even went out of his way to deliver my new Rubicon at my front door! I would highly recommend Paul!

Aramus Smith is the man to work with at this dealership!

Aramus Smith is the man to work with at this dealership! He was respectful, upfront, and honest during my whole process. I purchased my truck from a distance, and Aramus' hard work prevented every possible delay. I can't say enough about how easy it was to buy with Aramus on my side. I will be referring everyone I know in the market to purchase a vehicle for him. Great job!

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 4WD.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited 4WD. I was hearing a vibration when making right turns. I did a LOT of research on this issue online. The solution was Service Bulletin 08-137-21. It requires the Electric Power Steering Module (EPS) to be flashed with a software update. I provided all of my research to the service dept. They followed my research and flashed the EPS. Sometimes it helps to research the issues with your vehicle first. Not sure the dealer knew about this issue, but it just makes it faster to assist with the diagnosis. Absolutely love their service dept.

My transmission fell out after their service

On November 18, 2021, I took my 2019 RAM Promaster to Lake Keowee for service for a rattling noise. I wasn’t having any other issues with the driveability or function of the engine, but the rattle was different. After assessing it, Jason from the service department stated that a loose flywheel was causing the noise but that they also found a “crack in the transmission” and stated it needed to be repaired. I trusted them, and I shouldn’t have. They stated that the fix would only take 3-4 hours and be completed by the end of the day. I waited in the lobby the rest of the day, and then I was told it would not be finished until the next day. I had to find a hotel for the night and wait for them to call. Around 11:30 am on the 19th, I received a call that they were finished. I was charged $475.65 for the service. I left the shop and started my drive on a highway to Georgia. Less than 2 hours after leaving the shop, I pulled off the highway, and all of the vehicles shifted, and it sounded like I had a flat tire. I tried to put the vehicle in park on the side of the road, but it wouldn’t shift. I pulled the emergency brake and got out of the vehicle. My transmission was hanging less than 6 inches from the ground when I looked underneath! If it had happened 2 minutes earlier when I was driving on the highway, this could have been deadly. I immediately called Jason to let him know what had happened. He said that if I wanted to have it towed the 2 hours back, they would look at it. I didn’t think spending that much on a tow truck back to them was reasonable, so I had it towed to Troncalli in Cumming, Georgia. Troncalli stated that the transmission mounts broke, causing the transmission to fall out of the vehicle and the following: - Damaged engine mount - Damaged transaxle mount - Damaged transmission mount - Damaged transmission shift cable - Damaged transmission cooler lines - Damaged transmission ground strap - Damaged left front CV axle - Shorted out the battery, so it needed to be replaced - Damaged alternator - Damaged idler pulleys The cost of the damage was $5128. I also had to get hotel rooms, rental cars, and use Uber/Lyft while my vehicle was in the shop. Altogether, taking my vehicle to Lake Keowee cost $8908.32. I filed a claim with RAM Customer Care and was assigned a case manager (Barbie), but they could not get a hold of Lake Keowee to resolve the claim. I called Jason, who put me in contact with Mark, the operating manager. I explained to Mark the situation and requested reimbursement from Lake Keowee directly since the damage occurred following service at their shop. Mark passed the information on the Randy. I don’t know who Randy is, but he is the most challenging person I have ever worked with as a customer. He offered to reimburse me for the cost of the service I received at Lake Keowee. He denied that any damage was done due to their services. He stated that TRONCALLI should have to reimburse me. I explained that Troncalli fixed the damage caused by Lake Keowee. He said that there is no evidence that the transmission mount broke due to their service (even though it happened two hours after their mechanic removed the transmission from my vehicle). Randy additionally stated that he thinks that I may not have even needed my transmission serviced in the first place and that it was most likely an unnecessary service. He said that he believes I asked them to provide an unnecessary service; therefore, Lake Keowee shouldn’t have to reimburse me for anything (even though it was THEIR service center told me it was necessary). I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed in Lake Keowee and RAM Customer Care. They are not accepting responsibility for their faulty service. I believe that Lake Keowee should have to reimburse me for the repairs and associated costs. I also hope they do an after-action review and educate their mechanics on the failure, as well as customer service training.
