Sally was the best to work with. She found all the rebates for us and made the sale the best experience we have had, and we have had a lot of car buying history with other car dealerships. Don Chalmers should be very pleased with his staff. From the lot person to the last person that delivered the car, everyone was very professional. We will, and have, recommend Don Chalmers to everyone that we know. If you are looking for a car or truck, it's worth the drive to see them.

I arrived at Don Chalmers around 5:00 PM on 2-13-13 to...
I arrived at Don Chalmers around 5:00 PM on 2-13-13 to test drive and possibly buy a Ford Focus ST. I was greeted by a nice secretary who brought out a sales person Mark W. I asked if he had any Ford Focus ST's in stock and Mark showed me one on the show room floor that was blue with black leather. This was what I was looking for and I asked Mark if I could go for a test drive. Mark said it would be no problem and left to get the keys for the vehicle. When Mark returned, he did not have the keys and said, "I could not go on a test drive because of insurance reasons". I asked what that meant and he said, "it was a high performance machine". I then told him it was a Ford Focus and it was listed for $29,798. You have Ford trucks that cost more than this. I then told Mark that I was going to go to another dealership that lets me test drive cars and I would buy one from them. Mark stated, "ok". I asked Mark do you have a sales manager I could talk to? He brought out a sales manager that just stated the same thing as Mark but he added that this car was a high performance machine and they don't let people drive it. The sales people at this dealership are lacking knowledge and customer service. I could understand not being able to test drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini, but this was a Ford Focus ST listed under 30K. What is going on with Don Chalmers customer service and test driving cars?

This was the absolute best car buying experience I have...
This was the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had. All of the staff was curteous and helpful. Patrick was great. He made us feel like we were his top priority. He had the vehicle we were interested in ready for us to look at and test drive. He answered all of our questions throughly. The finance manager was also wonderful. He gave us great advice adn made sure we completely understood our purchase. He also explained all of our warranty information. Again we felt like his top priority. We will definitely use Don Chalmers again. The top notch service we received is well worth the 2 hour drive!

Amy was very pleasant and nice when we walked in the door. Asked what we were looking for and proceeded to show us the vehicles. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information which made it very easy to make our decision. The application process was very painless and surprisingly effortless. Jackie was very nice and went over all the financial details and was very informative of the paperwork we were given and signed. Again made it very effortless and easy. I think you have a great sales team and would have no problem sending anyone to purchase a vehicle. We had been talking with the Albuquerque Ford Dealership online but we decided to stop at Rio Rancho first because we heard from word of mouth that it was a good dealership. Thank you we love our new truck!!!!

Excellent Experience
It's always hard when you have to buy a new vehicle. whether it's a new or used one. I purchased a 2009 Lincoln Navigator and the sales people and finance person were awesome. To tell you the truth, I didn't think I would qualify for a loan but I did and I now have a newer vehicle. Everyone was wonderful and worked with me in regards to what I could afford. The only problem that I see with my experience is the time it took for the purchase of this vehicle. I had to leave the first day (with the new vehicle) because I had to pick up a friend from work so I had to go back the next day to finish. That was minor compared to other times I purchased a vehicle. Everyone at the dealership was welcoming and friendly.

I definitely had a good experience with Don Chalmers Ford. I initially just went in the dealership to get some more info and a first hand look at the Focus, but I just couldn't turn down the deal I got from Don Chalmers. They got me the car I wanted within the budget I had.

This one one of the best experiences we have had when purchasing a new vehicle. From Ken Willard our sales consultant to John the business manager to Jonathan who walked us thru our new vehicle and features, this was a great experience. We received much more than expected in all areas.
