Came into the dealership not really intending to purchase...in town for a wedding and decided to stop by. Tim was friendly and informative. He took time without adding any sense of pressure. They happened to have a model/color we liked so decided to purchase. They offered fair price and appreciated there was no need to "haggle". Very pleasant experience and delighted with new car. Each experience was very positive, from selection of the appropriate model, to price considerations and to follow up customer care. This is a great organization, which employs people who are dedicated to making their customers have a positive experience, e.g., the young man who drives me from the dealership to my office when the vehicle is in the shop for service, is as attentive and courteous as everyone else in the organization. I have purchased many cars new and used from Respectable Dealerships in the past 3 -4 decades. The one thing that sets this experience apart from the others is the fact that I was treated by my Sales Professional and Staff as if I was purchasing the most expensive car off the showroom floor, regardless that it was probably one of the least expensive in their inventory. Mercedes of Monterey obviously wants to make sure that the Mercedes Benz that rolls off their lot is going without a doubt a great car. They made sure that I new everything about the car history,function, also the fact that everything possible was done to the car to ensure that my experience was not going to end when I left, but everyday that we drive down the road. This was my 4th Mercedes-Benz purchase at this car dealership. My wife and I were very pleased with the manner in which the purchase of her ML 350 was handled by our Client Consultant Carl Haynes. From the initial appoinment, price negotiation, and final purchase. We were impressed with his personal and honest approach and was very patient with my wife's final car selection. Carl is a true "professional" and will treat you more like a friend than just another customer. From the sales, finance and service departments I would recommend Monterey Mercdes to everyone and my family will certainly return when it's time to purchase our "5th" Mercedes-Benz!
