Terrible customer service experience.

Called and inquired about a vehicle they have listed on their website. They told me "the vehicle is still in the shop". Why would you list something that is not ready for sale?! The listing was active for about about a month. Then one day, a couple of weeks later they called me to setup an appointment. I was like "cool" the car is ready. I called them the day of the appointment to make sure the car is ready for me to check out. I asked and they told me "it's still in the shop but we have plenty of options to choose from". I inquired about a particular car not just a random car they have in the lot. I have a strong feeling they we're holding it for an employee or a relative. The people who I spoke with was Fernando, Edwin, and David. Just please beware when shopping at this dealership.

Good experience at Capitol Subaru w/Samatha Bernal

We arrived to a smiling salesperson, Samatha Bernal, who helped us right away. She answered all our questions, took us for a test drive and got us into the financing dept so we can get out. Overall a good experience and am looking forward to driving my new Crosstrek.

smooth used car purchase

Keaton Neumann provided excellent service before and during our car purchase. He was very helpful and communicated proactively on the availability of a vehicle that matched our interest, and in setting up a time to come in for a test drive. Overall the experience was pleasant and very low pressure.

2022 Subaru Forester

Great new car buying experience, Salesman Aiden M. was awesome to work with. Not only he knew the products well, he also tirelessly ensured the vehicle was prep flawlessly for delivery despite record high temp 109°+ in the area. Finance manager Maria was amazing to work with as well, the final offer was clean with no hidden fee/surprise ( vin stiching, random security products no one want).

Great Experience!

I bought a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from Capitol Subaru. I couldn’t be happier! Jason helped me and he was awesome. Not only does he sell them, but he owns one. I think that is really important when it comes to answering questions. He knew exactly what he was talking about and I felt totally comfortable. There was no pressure to buy a car. This was actually my second time there, making sure this was the car for me. The whole process was quick and easy. The atmosphere was easy going. Great Car, Great Sales man, Great Dearlership!

Lawsuit against Capitol Subaru to Return Lemon

After buying a 2 year old car for over $40,000 total from Richard Dime at Capitol Subaru and driving it for about an hour, I noticed a strong and unusual smell throughout the car that only became apparent to me when I was driving it for a prolonged time with the AC off. During my short test drive prior to the sale earlier that day, the AC and air ventilation were running on their maximum settings the entire time, which must have masked the foul smell in the car. The unpleasant odor makes me sick and smells like someone either vomited or spilled milk and let it spoil inside the car at some time in the past and that the smell was treated only on the surface with cleaning agents and/or deodorants which only hid the problem and masked the odor. Only after sitting and driving in the car for an hour under normal air circulation conditions, all of my clothes have now taken on that awful smell. I cannot be driving this car going forward in this condition when it makes me this nauseous already. This sickening smell is literally a deal breaker for me. If I had been aware of it, I certainly would have passed on the sale and waited a while longer for a vehicle that does not have this problem. Independent professional Detailing vendors tell me that it would take about $1000 to deep clean, extract and disinfect the car from all the spilled bodily fluids, drinks and rotten food remains in it. I am working with my lawyer right now to reverse the sale under California’s Lemon Law as all Capitol Subaru has offered is giving it another one of their superficial wipe downs. I intend to see them in court to make them take back the lemon they sold me.

Welcome never pressured

I Was interested in a vehicle i seen online and I was contacted by Christian Bone who went the extra mile for getting detil information about the car even made a pre video of the car before our appointment. Made me feel welcome and never pressured witch lead me to a purchase

Amazingly helpful and concise!!

Everyone hates going to the dealership to buy a new vehicle and I’m no different from you but this BY FAR the easiest experience I’ve ever had. I found a car I was looking for I flew from Texas they picked me up from the airport ( with the car to test drive it back to the dealership ). Got back sat down and I was out of there in less than two hours with my new car!! Thank you Pablo and management for all the help and transparency. And also helping me with preparing the car for the trip back.
